From searching for a car to receiving your car, every step was so easy. Carvana customer representatives stayed in constant touch with me informing me of the progress. I wasAt first a little apprehensive of purchasing a car online but I must say I am very pleased with the whole process and with the car! For a car that was supposed to have received a "rigorous 150 point inspection" this was a total failure! The vehicle when checked by a mechanic after delivery had been in an obvious accident and poorly 150 point inspection" this was a total failure! The vehicle when checked by a mechanic after delivery had been in an obvious accident and poorly repaired at best. The following are the problems immediately and easily identified. 1-The drivers seat was warped and cocked to one side preventing a straight forward view and producing hip and back pain. 2-After less than a two minute test drive the mechanic reported the vehicle had obviously been in an accident and that could be felt from just driving the vehicle. 3-Once up on a lift there was an oil leak that was fresh and current as the oil was still clear. 4-The engine mounts under the engine were shredded and falling out. 5-The rear bumper cover had been forced into place to such a degree it evidenced clearly that there was a dent or warp in the same and that was the only way to get the part to seat and would remain. 6-The alignment of the hood and the front fenders was off by a visually noticeable amount of at least a 1/4 inch displacement. Also could be felt if the hand was run over the seam. 7-The paint for the hood was obviously a different shade of color. 8-The "burn in" of the clear coat on the front nose cap was poorly done, likely a result of doing the same too fast and produced scaling obvious to the naked eye and by touch/feel. 9-There were such imperfections in the repair paint job on the hood, including fish eyes and other markings that it appeared that the paint repair was done "outside in a gravel parking lot" rather than in a paint booth in the mechanic's words. 10-Last, but by no means least, the entire engine bay was covered in bondo dust that was not cleaned off. Ample evidence of major metal body repair. When I contacted the Carvana rep he could only say he was embarrassed and apologize and could not offer any consideration for me as a dissatisfied customer. Other than offer to allow me to choose a different vehicle and trade them out at the same price only! Either there was no inspection at all performed or the form was falsified if one was used and turned in or the person responsible for the same is incompetent at best and a liar and a thief most likely. In my opinion as a practicing attorney this is evidence of fraud in the formation of the purchase contract and in a sales transaction and I intend to pursue legal action against Carvana. I made the very gracious offer to forgive this fraudulent behavior if Carvana would agree to let me choose a slightly higher priced vehicle and Carvana would forgive the difference. They refused. They will most likely then, pay far more defending the anticipated legal action for fraud than they would have had to absorb and ensure another satisfied customer. Poor business decision and a dishonest business that is obviously prepared, willing, and hopeful to engage in illegal and fraudulent activity to take advantage of customers, the majority of which have no choice but to suffer such egregious treatment and results. Unfortunately of Carvana in this instance, as the movie saying goes, "they chose poorly"! I adamantly urge anyone and everyone not to patronize this business and will ensure that I communicate the same and this situation to anyone and everyone at every opportunity as I have already been doing daily. More
We had a great experience with Carvana. The Dodge Journey was in perfect condition and had less than 6,000 miles on it. To preface, every single person I have dealt with at Carvana has been extremely professional and courteous, my low rating has to do with the condition the vehicle arrived in. First, it arrived filthy with paint overspray all over it. Next, the wheels were so caked on with brake dust I could not even see the curb rash damage they had. Finally, it is a week later and I am still waiting on the wheels to be replaced under warranty. This is not the experience it should have been. More
