Being able to rely on Carvana's callouts of imperfections eliminates so much hassle of searching used car websites and visiting each potential car in-person to see if it's actually in as good of condition as eliminates so much hassle of searching used car websites and visiting each potential car in-person to see if it's actually in as good of condition as the ad tries to make it sound. For someone like me purchasing a somewhat niche vehicle, there is huge value in being able to search for one with all the options I was hoping for without driving hundreds of miles. I applied for a 3rd party loan through my credit union to compare the rates Carvana was offering me. Carvana's interest rate ended up being about 2% higher than the credit union (3.90% vs 1.99%). However, since Carvana's financing was extremely easy to set up and was integrated very well into the purchase process, I still ended up financing through Carvana instead of the credit union. The car I was purchasing was cheap enough and I was including a large enough down-payment, that the rate difference would only be few hundred dollars over the term of the loan, and I felt that the convenience that Carvana was offering was worth it. Bottom line - Carvana's financing rates were competitive enough to justify the convenience in my situation, but that might not be true for everyone. I had my car delivered to me. The delivery went very smoothly. No complaints. Overall, a very straightforward buying experience. I'll recommend Carvana my friends/family. More
