My name is Robert Rivera and On April 28th 2020, I began financing a vehicle from their online dealership that was delivered to my home. I notified their dealership that in the registration documents I was interested in having a plate transfer from 2001 Honda Civic to my new 2015 Ford Fuzion. I then received an email from the Carvana team that my registration documents was submitted by a 3rd vendor to a DMV on May 28th 2020. When I Received the 2015 Ford Fuzion I took the 2001 Honda Civic off of my insurance policy and added the 2015 Ford Fuzion on my policy. The Ford Fuzion has been insured through progressive since 4/28/20. I then called Carvan on July 9th 2020 to receive verification of how much longer did I have to wait for my new registration and their representative notified me that the DMV denied that registration due to my insurance not indicating my full name. I then called progressive to have this issue fixed and the representative from Carvava stated “ Everything should be fine now, and our registration team is going to resubmit your documentation”. I then received a letter in the mail on July, 28th, 2020 indicating that my license has been suspended due to a lapse of insurance because the DMV has on file that I own a Honda Civic 2001 that has not been insured since 4/28/20. I then contacted Caravan on several occasions to receive clarification of why this occurred and they then notified me that they could not resubmit my registration documentation due to my license being suspended and I may have to return their vehicle. My insurance never lapsed and I tried to complete a plate transfer that is all. I then made an appointment at the DMV officer in Newburgh, N.Y. on 8/10/20 to rectify this issue and the employee at DMV notified me that I must surrender the plates that I wanted to transfer and that I have to call the DMV in Albany. I then spoke with a representative in Albany and I was notified that I have to fax over a bill of sale for the 2001 Honda Civic, which I did. I then has to schedule an appointment with the DMV in West Havestraw, N.Y. on 8/20/20 to pay for s suspension lift and to be issues a restricted license. I then notified the Carvana team that my license was not suspended anymore and requested that they resend my registration documentation. The representative notified me that they would resend the documentation and that I should not have any more issues. In September I called the Carvana team again asked for the status of my registration and the representative notified me that since I have Temporary Carvana plates from New Jersey I have until October 18th to have my vehicle registered. I then spoke with a representative from Carvana again at the end of September and wad notified that my vehicle could not registered because my license being suspended due to an insurance lapse. I notified the representative from Carvana again that I already took the suspension off my license and there should not be any other issues at this present time. The representative notified me that they will resubmit the documents and I should not have any more issues or delays and my new registration and plates should be in my possession as soon as possible. I am very upset with the service I received, my license should not have been suspended. This occurrence messed with my livelihood as far as picking up my son, going back and forth to work, and utilizing the state vehicles that are located at my per diem place of employment. I had to surrender license plates that should have not been surrendered and forked out funds that could have been avoided. More

I loved the process. It saved a lot of time and was a super easy way to buy a car! The only real issue that I had was the fact that they promised a fully detailed car, and that was far from the case. Do yourself a favor and don’t do business with them! They will never send you the registration or plates and who knows , the title still might be in another state. We started the process of purchasing a car in June took till September to get one and it’s been nothing but trouble since then. It’s been in the repair shop 3 times for parts not covered under warranty. The tires have an issue causing the Jeep to shake but carvana said I drove to much so they won’t help us. The first car we ordered had transmission issues. The second had electrical issues and took way to long to get to us. Customer service was very friendly and did compensate us for the time it took to get the car however after the 7 day Guarantee was up I was on my own. I love the car it’s the nicest thing ive ever owned so I don’t regret my decision to purchase. Just wish carvana did better inspections before posting the cars for sale. More

Excellent! Easy to fill our all required forms! They followed up! Got a great little car in my price range and with their extended warranty and gap coverage I’m good for 2 years! Only minus is it came with 1 key and no fob but thanks to you tube and Amazon I was able to order and program the fob for cheap if only it was as cheap to have the spare key cut!!! More
