My experience with Carvana was not a great one. The first car we reserved remained in the reconditioning phase for weeks. As of this writing it still is in that phase. They keep sending me updates on it even though we no longer have it reserved. The communication about this was almost non existent during the process. We picked another car. Started the purchase process. As I was uploading pictures of my license, (why the require the pic and not just the info is weird) my time window closed and they gave the care to the next person in line. I had just entered my bank info when the page refreshed and they told me the car was no longer available. The car became available later in the day and I was able to jump on it. The car was damaged cosmetically during delivery. Still waiting for a call back from the third party warranty group to have that fixed. Also it turns out the car had a preexisting issue with the seals. It's burning oil. We only found out about that because the cylinders started misfiring on a longer drive. Leaking seals can be found by a simple compression test which one would have thought would have been part of their much touted 150 point inspection. So our 7 day return option was gone by the time this problem was diagnosed. It's still under warranty. But the warranty holder won't approve the fix in the way the mechanic suggests so that's going to be a fight. All in all the process took a long time, trying to get costumer service on the line is excruciating with wait times of over an hour. Oh, and today I received an email telling me registration of the new vehicle is delayed which means, from what I've seen in other reviews, that the temporary tags on the vehicle will likely expire before the new plates arrive. The cost of the car was several grand over market value but we thought that was worth it because of the anticipated online ease of purchase and driveway delivery. Of course it turns out it wasn't that easy. Josh, who delivered the car was excellent. More

Mostly Great! Super easy process. We traded a Honda Accord for a 2018 Honda Pilot. Got the car delivered about four days after purchase online. Got over $1000 more for trade-in than offers from CarMax Accord for a 2018 Honda Pilot. Got the car delivered about four days after purchase online. Got over $1000 more for trade-in than offers from CarMax and local dealer. Pilot was competitively priced as well. Exterior looked exactly as pictured on site. No additional dings or scratches. Drives perfectly, good brakes and tires. Their "150 point" presale inspection is questionable. There were drink stains on the rear passenger seats. Wipers, air filter and cabin air filter all needed replacement. The filters were filthy and all those parts appeared to be original to the car (33k + miles). A traditional dealer would replace those things before putting the car on sale. Nonetheless, it was a super easy process and it was nice not to have to spend half a day at a dealership. Probably would use Carvana again. More
Such an easy way to purchase a car! I knew what kind of car I wanted, put in my criteria, and got notified when inventory was added that would match.
