I didn’t catch the name, but one of the people we worked with was inebriated somehow (slurring words to the point that her speech was incomprehensible). We had to explain the situation to her MULTIPLE times and she kept talking in circles. It was very frustrating. The wait to get to a carvana employee was 30+ min, so I didn’t want to start the whole process over again. We called my bank and she perked up for that portion, but after was back to slurring. We had to call my husband at work and he told her he couldn’t understand her multiple times. She ended up hanging up on us after explaining the covid pickup process. Which was technically the last thing she had to cover, but we didn’t know that. We ended up having to call back, start the whole process over to make sure. Also there was A LOT of confusion regarding payment from our bank. The last person we talked to was great-very concise. She told us that our bank was a “preferred” company, so everything was streamlined. Other employees had told us our bank phone numbers were listed incorrectly, and many other issues along the way. Overall, it was a stressful and drawn out process. Exactly opposite of what carvana promises. The car we purchased ended up being close to the 90k service requirement, so I took it in to have that done. The mechanic at Subaru told me that the brake pads, though new, were put on upside down and that causes damage to the rotor. I feel as though the 150 point inspection didn’t do its job. The car has other issues, but that is understandable when purchasing a used vehicle. The new brake pads shouldn’t be put on upside down. More

First time buying a car online sight unseen, and purchasing through Carvana was absolutely the BEST car-buying experience I’ve ever had. On the website, i was able to enter my desired price, mileage purchasing through Carvana was absolutely the BEST car-buying experience I’ve ever had. On the website, i was able to enter my desired price, mileage, make and model. I was looking for a Chevrolet Cruze with very low mileage and very high gas efficiency for my 500 mile per week commute to/from work. I found the car that fit my wish-list and was in my price range. From there it took me 40 minutes to complete the financing online through Carvana and then another 10 minutes on a verification phone call. Eight days later, at the exact appointment time, my “Bella” was delivered to my driveway, and she was In the exact condition represented on Carvana’s website. The staff was incredible and even included a handwritten birthday card in the sun visor because Bella was delivered 2 days before my 49th birthday. Top Notch Service From Start To Finish! I will never buy a vehicle from a traditional dealership again. #TeamCarvana4Life More
I have to preface my review of Carvana by saying that I had been researching the car that I wanted for a few months before I pulled the trigger. I had gone through all of the online listings at dealerships had been researching the car that I wanted for a few months before I pulled the trigger. I had gone through all of the online listings at dealerships around the country and was very leary about buying a car without a test drive. Of course, the car that I wanted is in high demand so beggars can't be choosers. I had heard of Carvana as they are ubiquitous in their advertising and was hoping that my specific car would become available as their car-buying process appeared to be pretty slick and efficient. Thankfully, my wife was paying attention and noticed that a car that fit the exact specs (including exterior color!) I was searching for became available that day. I will list all of the pros that I can think of that relate to the buying process from my experience... 1. Free CARFAX report on every vehicle: Dealers that do not provide this for free to the prospective buyer should take note. Any dealership that has the audacity to put it on the consumer to pay for the report is really taking advantage of said consumer and, in my opinion, should be avoided at all costs. Not only does Carvana provide the report, they also ensure that every car on their website is accident-free and has a clean title. 2. Full disclosure on imperfections: Given the pandemic climate, having the ability to inspect the vehicle virtually is another major bonus. You can really get a good idea of the vehicle condition and they highlight the minor imperfections like scratches, road rash, wear, etc. that you would expect with a used car. I have yet to see another dealership do this for the customer and this gave me more confidence in what I was purchasing at Carvana. 3. Buying process: Once I had a chance to review and be satisfied with the vehicle on paper, I began the paperwork which was a breeze. I went through my bank for financing and was able to secure a rock-bottom interest rate. Because Carvana works with a number of banks, I literally only needed to pass along the purchase agreement to the bank and they had the agreement finalized within 2 days of initiating the buying process. Carvana has in-house financing, but the interest rate is much higher so I do recommend going through your preferred bank first as they can usually offer a very competitive rate assuming you have at least good credit. Carvana does not throw dealer fees at you so that is one less thing to dodge. Because my car is a 2014 and the manufacturer's warranties were expired, I opted to purchase a year of extended warranty coverage from Carvana, but felt better doing it and hopefully will not have to use it. The delivery fee was around $600 which was very reasonable given that the car was located on the west coast and I am on the east coast. Scheduling for contactless delivery was very simple and within a week I had the car sitting in my driveway. All I needed to do was show proof of insurance as well as my driver's license and I was good to go. The delivery driver was a pleasure to work with and made sure I had everything I needed before he took off. All of the paperwork needed to complete the registration process was included in the packet he provided. Once I had a chance to inspect the vehicle and have my mechanic take a look to make sure everything checked out, I only needed to go to the county treasurer and pay the property taxes then upload the receipt to Carvana so they could complete the registration and mail the license plate out to me. That's right, not having to spend my day at the DMV was another huge plus. 4. 7-day Trial: This is just as important (if not more important) as any other convenience that Carvana offers. If you researched your vehicle before the purchase, then this should be quick and painless as well. I had the opportunity to drive the vehicle several times to get a feel for the handling and see if any glaring problems existed (none so far). I also dropped it off at my mechanic's shop and left it there for the day so he could check it out from head to toe (everything checked out). For my particular vehicle, the biggest issues can occur with the brakes, rotors, tires and, of course, engine as it is a heavy vehicle. Fortunately, the vehicle was well-maintained and had no substantial issues, but just the fact that you have that safety net of 1 week to return the vehicle at no charge was certainly what swayed me to purchase without a test drive at the dealership. 5. Online purchase: I am a creature of convenience and love making purchases online if I know exactly what I want. Some people enjoy haggling at the dealership, but that is not my style. The car was already priced at least $2,500 under the KBB value and not having to waste my time swatting away the dealer fees was enough for me to accept the listing price. I knew that if I felt differently once I had the vehicle, I could return it at no cost so it was an easy decision for me. Throughout the whole process, Carvana ensured no gaps in communication and responded quickly to questions via text, e-mail or phone. They respect your time and try to make the process as efficient as possible. As for the cons...In my situation, I had no issues at all and that is saying a lot considering that I had not-so-great experiences at other dealers recently (communication gaps, no CARFAX, car that is still listed on the website has been gone for months, etc.). At least with Carvana, if the vehicle is pending purchase it is reflected real-time on their website. If you are financing your vehicle, I would recommend going through your bank first to see if you can obtain a better interest rate. I really hope this helps and did not intend for this review to be long-winded. I usually only review when a product or service is really good or really bad, so hopefully that means something to anyone reading. In my opinion, if you know what you want and it becomes available on Carvana, then go for it! I would recommend them to anyone! More

I was looking to sell them my car, got an offer from them and I accepted and sent all my paperwork. Then crickets. I had to call them a few times and after a week they came up with some story that Nissan wo and I accepted and sent all my paperwork. Then crickets. I had to call them a few times and after a week they came up with some story that Nissan would not allow them to pay off the lease. Unbelievable, but even worse, no communication at all. What an absolute waste of time. I feel scammed. More
Second time buyer! I am very happy with my van but it did come with some unlisted needed repairs 😕. In my opinion Carvana should make needed repairs before listing vehicles. My power lift gate is currently come with some unlisted needed repairs 😕. In my opinion Carvana should make needed repairs before listing vehicles. My power lift gate is currently not working due to a missing lift bar, my service cover mat from center console and rubber cub holder inserts are missing , and a panel in the roof console had been broke and is missing also. Other than that the van runs nice and looks great! More
First time using Carvana and the overall experience was great. The purchasing part is very easy and straightforward, but the only issue I had was with the delivery. Delivery was delayed two times and resul great. The purchasing part is very easy and straightforward, but the only issue I had was with the delivery. Delivery was delayed two times and resulted in the car coming a week later than originally scheduled, which wasn't the biggest deal. The most impressive part of this experience was the customer service from both the Delivery Resolutions team (specifically Sarah V., Bob R., and Danelle) and the team at Silver Rock (specifically Spring and Kimball). They were exteremely friendly and able to help out with all the questions I had. More
