I talked to people up and down the line and while a few tried to be friendly, they were all ineffective. The negative Carvana customer experience is systemic. They don't know how to function when things go wrong.

This is a ridiculous canned response... the type of which I received over and over again by the Carvana team, from the minute you called me at 9:05 am to tell me that you weren't delivering my car at 10:00 am, to the fact that I've literally left dozens of messages that no one has ever responded to. Three days later, with zero phone calls and zero response, you called to tell me there was a crack in the windshield. I was on a major timeline and HAD to have the car before moving out of state or I would have cancelled the whole purchase. Ultimately I had to go out to the middle of nowhere in New Jersey and pick up the car -- missing my own going away dinner -- and STILL Carvana wanted to negotiate with me about paying the shipping charges. Honestly, they treat the process like you're buying a sweater, not like a vehicle that costs tens of thousands of dollars. DON'T RESPOND PUBLICLY TO SOMEONE UNTIL YOU'VE READ THEIR RECORDS.
