However, I'd much rather skip the home-delivery and go into a dealership from now on given the problems that I had with the car. The detailing was REALLY bad. There were a couple of scuffs and scratches on the outside of the car and the interior didn't look as good as I had expected it would. If you're going to pay a premium price for a used car it better be the best. And the car they delivered was nowhere near the best. I expected much better for the high price that I paid. I could of done much better at a regular dealership and save thousands instead of paying top dollar More
Months after purchase still waiting on the FOB to unlock car I have purchased two cars through Carvana. My second purchase arrived with a bad FOB. The delivery driver put in a work order. I have the alarm go off every time I have to get into the car after locking it. Otherwise has been a good purchase have no idea how to resolve the issue. We told everyone what a cool experience this was to buy a car without the hassel of the dealership. Shopping for, paper signing and delivery went reasonably well. Post sale Customer service after was a nightmare. We had difficulty getting follow thru for Limited Power of attorney paper work to be sent to us for our plates. Some one kept dropping the ball and stories kept changing. We still haven't received our plates...the temporaries expire in 2 days. But the worst, the "never recommend Carvana" was when it was finally warm enough to install the soft top to our purchased wrangler and it did not have the back window or cross bar included. When we were able to get in touch with someone they said its an "as is" sale. Then another person told us because it was outside of 30 days of purchasing(it was 39) it was our tough luck. I just feel like that is crappy customer service. It was advertised that it came with the hard and soft top. Not the soft top without the back window. Lesson learned. More
Best car buying experience I ever had! I didn't have to spend hours at a dealership or deal with any salesmen. The process was fast. Car is good, math was decent. Car arrived with an undisclosed ding and no 2nd key and they agreed to fix both but a hassle to have to take the car to two different shops post sale to resolve.
