Horrible experience start to finish During a trying time after have previous car rear ended and totaled by distracted driver and the whole pandemic, turned to Carvana as the next best op During a trying time after have previous car rear ended and totaled by distracted driver and the whole pandemic, turned to Carvana as the next best option. Don't get me wrong the convenience factor is tremendous, the concept is great, the execution and integrity on the other hand leave room for improvement. Let me list out my issues so it doesn't just feel like a bitter buyer. 1. In the vehicle 360degree view they have the little triangles to show imperfections-Great idea on car I purchase the triangle indicated a "Level 1 imperfection" on rear bumper. The scratch was tiny had to zoom several times to see it. However car gets delivered and on the front bumper air dam, there are multiple long severe scratches in the plastic probably at least 10 inches long. These were not indicated on the 360 view. Camera angles and lighting were obviously professionally done as you cant see this in the pictures. Let person dropping off the car know right away, they take pics and submit them. At the end of 7 day period repair team says sorry nothing can be done its cosmetic and sends a link to their standards that doesn't exist. Supervisor I eventually spoke with even said it should have been called out and was not up to their standards. 2. With thier site indicating fluids are checked surprised when find BLACK transmission fluid that mechanic says shouldn't be that way with only 15k miles and needs to be replaced...cost $200 condition not mentioned at all on preinspection report. 3. Nowhere on the report is there any mention, indication or even notice of the huge amount of rust on the entire undercarriage and exhaust system of this vehicle. 4, During the test drive period and based on all the other lies told, get vehicle inspected independently to find other issues, so try and add on the carvana care and told you cant. Has to be done sight unseen. Yeah they tell me on the phone when I ask about it at the end its a "legal thing with signing contracts", Im sorry I throw BS flag here, I re-signed my contracts 5 times, whats one more time. Plus whats the difference between adding the carvanacare and re-signing contract and a customer returning vehicle and exchanging the vehicle for the exact same vehicle again, this time with the carvanacare. There are aftermarket companies that sell warranties why not yourself other than you know its due to condition of vehicles you omit. This will lead into my next question, if you are so concerned with the contract, why was it that I had to keep telling the customer service rep the contract was wrong as it didn't list my apt#. Eventually told by the rep on recorded line, "well to be honest that part of the contract isn't as important, its got your main address correct. You can go online later and add the apt." I asked for supervisors 3 different times during this process and was promised call backs....received 1 on day 6 of the 7 day window. Then when they do, rather than addressing the concerns simply keep saying, well you can return he vehicle. Someone needing a car to support their family cant just drop everything and go without car or job again. More
Picking a car was made easy. Financing readily available. Shipping the car to us took forever. Still haven't received paperwork. Or a solution for badly cracked belt that "passed" inspection. Mechanic is rec Shipping the car to us took forever. Still haven't received paperwork. Or a solution for badly cracked belt that "passed" inspection. Mechanic is recommending $1500 of maintenance because carvana cannot provide us dates when it was done. Carvana also said this belt should be covered under a one time exception but have not made good on this. Customer service is always readily available but little has been done to resolve the situation. Love the car but haven't even gotten the registration paperwork and the whole process took almost twice as long as it should. More
The process of buying a car through was extremely smooth, simple, and quick! I loved that I was able to make an educated purchase based on the details and CarFax. The employee who delivered my car was very k simple, and quick! I loved that I was able to make an educated purchase based on the details and CarFax. The employee who delivered my car was very kind and great with communication. We were able to take the car for a test drive, and he answered all of my questions thoroughly and kindly. I also love that Carvana has the 7 day warranty so I could have my mechanic check it as well. Everything was in great condition, and I would definitely recommend Carvana. More

Overall pleased with my new car and the person that delivered the vehicle. Opportunities for improvement. 1) Tighten up on 150 point inspection. Delivery date was changed due to requirement to repl delivered the vehicle. Opportunities for improvement. 1) Tighten up on 150 point inspection. Delivery date was changed due to requirement to replace 4 tires after pre-delivery inspection. This should have been caught on the 150 point inspection. Then only 4 tires replaced. Now I have to provide and inspection of tires from an authorized tire dealer to show that the two front tires have only 2/32 and 3/32 of tread remaining. 2) Work with your 3rd Party that takes care of Titles/Registrations. My state has DMV closed to walk ins during COVID19 but still offer titles/registrations service by mail. Carvana claims they cannot “Force” the 3rd party to use the mail-in approach. How about just asking them!!!!!! More
