I truly loved this experience. I bought a blue 2014 Dodge Avenger! I named her Royal 😎😎. In the past buying a car has been stressful. With all of the scams happening in today's life experiences and selfish motives exhibited, my first reaction was this has to be bull+×÷=. experience. Then I saw a Carvana commercial during a televised professional football game and I said, "let me check this out" and I started my investigation. A day later I had an unscripted Carvana experience that further peaked my curiosity. I had a mtg with a very close business partner and as we were wrapping up, my colleague says, "do you need a ride home? Nah, I'm good... Adamantly my colleague says, let me drop you off..." So reluctantly I agreed. As we walked away from the venue, I'm looking for his vehicle and in the distance I see this beautiful 750 BMW light up... I've always been a huge fan of the vehicle and thought to myself, one day that will be me. As we walked I'm like where F×+=@ is his vehicle and we walk up on the BMW 750, I say, "man this is a pretty ride" not knowing this was my colleagues new toy and he stops in admiration and says, "get in". Shocked, I'm thinking he had to borrow this machine. Once inside, I was like a kid in a candy store asking questions with excitement and this when he told me about Carvana and how seamless his experience was. Still skeptical I was even more enthusiastic about my Carvana investigation. Later that evening and soon into the wee-wee hours I found myself on the app searching for vehicles and then it happened... I saw my BMW and immediately the skepticism rose too new heights. I shutdown my phone and vowed not to get involved because though my colleague invested, I wasn't going to be a sucker as well. The following morning, like a magnet, my intuition dragged me back to the Carvana app and the next thing I knew I was loading my personal info for approval. I couldn't believe how easy the process was in addition to the reasonable car price and financing rates I was approved for and just like that I was searching for a delivery date. Then I ran into a couple of issues with the confirmation process which had nothing to do with me, but the internal Carvana communications process and I was ready to cancel the process and in fact I did. Discouraged and disgusted, I knew this was bull#$@× when suddenly I something told me to use the Carvana chat tool to let you know how close I was to purchasing and express my disappointment. Though the rep I experienced was novice, she peaked my interest enough and assured me that my experience was not the true representation of the Carvana mission and she guaranteed satisfaction. I was mentally back in the game and then she disappears from the chat for more 30 minutes and I'm like these are red flags and I should walk away. So to ensure my personal info submitted was not used in any capacity I called the Carvana customer service and I was connected to the "Jedi" of customer service who not only changed my mind, but guaranteed satisfaction. He fixed all of my issues and assured me that things would work out. Gave me his personal info and said, "if you have any problems call me directly" and the rest is history. I would recommend everyone to buy their vehicle from Carvana as it made my dreams of owning a luxury sports car come true without leaving my house. More
Great experience! Only reason I am rating four, not five stars, is the truck I purchased was advertised as a platinum reserve. In reality it was a lesser trim model. I do love the truck. Much easier than going to a dealership! Being able to upload everything to their online portal was so simple. My only complaint was that the interior of the car was rather poorly cleaned, there were alot of stains on the cloth seats that weren't visible in the car photos, and the cleaning job itself was poor, and the car smelled faintly of smoke. I did complain to Carvana about this and they offered to reimburse me a $100 towards a detail of my car, at a shop of my choice, which was a good offer, but no detail is under $100, I needed a deep clean to blow out the vents and clean most of the stains off the seats which a dealership would have easily done before I picked up the car. That aside, I would buy from them again and recommend to friends and family. More
