Our vehicle appraisals are evaluated based on features, mileage, and other contributing factors. Once an offer is given to the customer there is a 7 day time-frame to upload all documents needed in order for us to complete the selling of your car to Carvana, if this timeline had passed a new appraisal is needed and there could be an adjustment to your offer. Carvana aims to be as transparent as possible with our customers and are continually looking for ways to improve our car selling process. Sorry, but if you "aim to be transparent", nobody has been able to tell me why I got an appraisal and uploaded my documentation (well within 7 days), went to schedule a pickup and the appraisal number lowered. That's not transparent. 1)The ORIGINAL appraisal met my expected value - that's why I uploaded the documentation 2) The ORIGINAL offer was given and I uploaded the documents 1 day later. Well within 7 days 3) Transparency is honoring a written appraisal and following through on the actions/guidelines you set when a customer follows up on his/her end. If a mistake was made, then be accountable for it.
