We are sorry to hear that your experience was not quite as you expected. Unfortunately, working on deals for customers with less-than-adequate credit can get tricky. It can be frustrating for both us and the customer. The most important thing in situations like this is for both parties to be open, honest, and fulfill obligations. Now, Greg is a 40+ year veteran professional in the area of special finance and knows everything that needs to be done in order to make the deal go smoothly and, most importantly, get the customer on the road in their new vehicle as quickly and as easily as possible. Sometimes he does have to tell people the honest truth which can be hard to hear for some people. Especially when the customer may be fed up with shopping for a car because no one else has been able to get financing completed and they just want the nightmare to be over. We apologize again that your experience did not end well and we would love another opportunity to get you into a vehicle. All we ask is cooperation because as we stated before, Special Financing isn't always easy. It sometimes comes with lots of stipulations and conditions for the customer and the dealer. If checks bounce, or cards get declined when placing deposits or money down, the entire deal can be lost and some lenders won't consider the applicant again because we reported false information to them that the customer provided. Not only is this bad for the customer's reputation for future loans, but it hinders our relationship with that lender. While we aren't quite sure who you are or which vehicle you purchased due to the anonymity of Dealer Rater's review process, we would like to explain how our post-purchase process works. Now, we offer some of the best pre-owned vehicles in the area. We have some of the best mechanic and prep-technicians that make sure each vehicle is in pristine condition prior to sale. We check, double check, and check again that all components of the vehicle are in working order prior to sale. On the off chance that something does slip through the cracks, we are happy to work with our customers in an orderly, reasonable, and civilized manner. As a rule of thumb, assuming the problem was not caused by user-error, the first problem we fix for free. The second reported issue will create some concern on our end that we are being taken advantage of but is generally fixed for free or a discounted price. And any issues reported after that typically means we are being taken advantage of. We have been in business for over 30 years and stand by every vehicle we have ever put on the road. Our pre-owned vehicle processes allow us to have one of the lowest amounts of reported post-sale issues in the area. If and when issues do occur, we handle them quickly and responsibly. All we ask in return is to not expect every issue to be classified as our fault because at some point, it is the customer's responsibility to take care of the vehicle they own. Vehicle purchase price was 1% below invoice less rebates, making purchase price $24,800. This vehicle was purchased 3 months ago. All options and equipment are clearly stated on window sticker, which is placed in glove box after window removal. All features are also discussed and demonstrated at delivery. Delivery check list showing boxes checked for feature explanation clearly signed by customer. Brighton Chrysler did attempt to assist customer into new AWD model by appraising current vehicle at current market value. Customer did not pay for any form of product not received.
