You had also authorized a partial teardown of your engine to diagnose other concerns. Our Service and General Manager reduced your diagnostic bill, offered to credit it towards future repairs and offered you a complimentary loaner if you opted to replace your leaking oil pan. The contract says it is optional and the user can secure financing or purchase the vehicle without it. The issue is no different than if you installed a bunch of dealer installed accessories and gave the consumer no choice because that’s your “policy”
