When we first came to Chapman in 2009 we were not expecting much of anything except to be hounded by multiple salesmen (prior experience with other dealerships). However, we never been to Chapman BMW nor have we ever met Bruce Kotlicky before either. He is not your typical sale man who is working for commission. He is a guy wanting to get to know his clients on a personal level first and then he tries to accommodate their needs. Bruce is beyond professional, is very knowledgeable of the products, he is extremely detailed in making sure we know everything about the car before we drive off, and he is an asset to Chapman BMW to say the least! Overall, the dealership is nice. I liked working with the Internet Manager, Ryan Dorfman. Unfortunately, because I had gone in for a test drive in which the total time spent at the dealership was maybe the Internet Manager, Ryan Dorfman. Unfortunately, because I had gone in for a test drive in which the total time spent at the dealership was maybe 30 minutes, I was also required to work with Bits Fajardo, who had taken me on the test drive. Ryan spent a lot more time negotiating with me and convincing me that Chapman was the right dealership to go with for my 5 series. I did not like working with 2 people. I ended up repeating myself multiple times on items that had been communicated with Ryan because Bits apparently gets half the commission since he took me on the test drive and needed to be involved. This was very frustrating. I understand the team concept but that shouldn't impact the customer. Also, I didn't like that the online tracking wasn't accurate. It showed my car was available "At Your BMW Center" and it actually wasn't until almost a week later. More
I have dealt with Jeff on 6 different purchased or leased vihicles. I always felt I was treated fairly and professionally. i've been to a lot of auto delearships in my lifetime and it is fair to say most of them have friendly and helpful staff but none of the service compare to the experience i had at Chapman BMW in Chandler.My it is fair to say most of them have friendly and helpful staff but none of the service compare to the experience i had at Chapman BMW in Chandler.My expectations were exceeded beyond belief by Karl Muik.As soon as we got out of the car, he approached us with a smile,greeted us and shook our hands.I was at ease and comfortable right from the beginning because of his warm demeanor.He answered all of our questions and even went out of his way to educate us on other concerns. He was very cordial and professional and never pushy like a lot of other salesmen. After he presented me with my financial options,he actually left momentarily just to give me some time to think and make a decision. He spent a lot of time with me to compare and pick different customizations on the car i wanted. That i thought was selfless and generous. Even as the car was being built he kept in touch to give me regular updates as well as when to pick it up. Karl's laid - back demeanor and integrity is unparalled and if BMW employs a lot of people like him i can assure you your sales will jump through the roof. This experience was stress-free and extremely fun it was unbelievable. I'll do it again in a blink, hopefully, through Karl Muik. I have to mention i normally wouldn't fill out surveys but i wanted to complete this to give a feedback on the remarkable job expedited by Mr Muik. Thank him for me again and again. More

3 years ago when I custom ordered my 335i Coupe, I would have rated this dealership with all 5's, however now I believe that the dealership has taken a turn for the worse. Over the last two months that I v have rated this dealership with all 5's, however now I believe that the dealership has taken a turn for the worse. Over the last two months that I visited the dealership and inquired about purchasing a new E90 M3 from them I was given the cold shoulder time and time again even though I had purchased 2 vehicles from them in the past. I was told that I was not allowed to take an M3 for a test drive several times as their excuse was that customers who buy them don't like a lot of miles on the car so that the ones they had were off limits for a test drive. I'm very curious as to how they believe the can sell a car without offering a test drive of it first....Since the wouldn't allow test drives a new M3 I then inquired about taking one of the used ones on the lot for test drive and was told yet again that was a no go because all of them had deals in place and that they could not be driven. The sales person at that time offered to take my information and give me call when they got an M3 in stock that I could drive and two months later I still have yet to receive a phone call from that sales person. I guess he didn't really want the sale after all. Each time I walked out of the dealership with a feeling that they didn't want my business again and just figured they would get the sale from the next individual that walked through those doors. In the end I ended up going across the street and taking a look at the Audi S4s and was treated with the utmost respect and ended up purchasing a brand new S4 today. I'm a big fan of BMW but Chapman BMW has lost me as a customer for good. When it comes time to look into purchasing another vehicle it will likely be another Audi but should it happen to be a BMW I will now take my business else where and will likely end up buying from either BMW of North Scottsdale or going out of state for my purchase. P.S. I will say that the service department at Chapman is a pleasure to work with but their sales department really needs to go back and take some basic customer service classes and drop the elitist attitude. I was turning in a leased vehicle and was told by another BMW dealership they couldn't help me with a new vehicle due to my credit score. When I called Sandy Orenstein to discuss turning in my current lease BMW dealership they couldn't help me with a new vehicle due to my credit score. When I called Sandy Orenstein to discuss turning in my current leased vehicle she asked what I would be replacing it with and I indicated I would love another BMW but was told I wouldn't qualify. She indicated that Chapman had several programs that may be of interest and encouraged me to speak with a salesperson when I brought the car back. Jeff Orenstein really went to bat for me with finance and showed that even though my credit score had dropped, I am a loyal BMW customer (this is my 4th consecutive BMW) and I have always made my BMW payments on time. Jeff found the exact car I specified I wanted and came in at the payment I had required. He set up my bluetooth and satellite radio for me and was all around a joy to work with. Megan in finance was there very late to finish my paperwork and was extremely pleasant. In sum, I had an extremely easy, professional and pleasant experience at Chapman and will be a long time customer. I would also recommend Chapman to anyone who is interested in a BMW. Thanks to all!
