I have had a chance to look into this concern and would like to explain further, what happened on the vehicle you were interested in. This particular vehicle (2015 Fiat 500L) was indeed available when you were inquiring about it and before you drove down to see it. We are not able to hold vehicles unless there is a cash deposit placed on a car and unfortunately, before your arrival to the dealership on 4/6/19 another customer came in and subsequently purchased the vehicle that very day. I am more than happy to show you proof of the purchase taking place on that date without giving out personal customer information to show in good faith that Chapman Chrysler Jeep had no ill intention or in no way were we attempting to “bait and switch” you nor any of our other valued customers. Ashley did indeed drive you over to our main lot where the vehicle was located with all intentions of showing you the 2015 model, it just happened to be in another Fiat model which she was going to show you as well. We do always try to offer the consumer more than one choice if we have them available but the purchase on the one you were interested in originally was taking place as you showed up. When she went in to get the keys is when management told her that the vehicle has just been sold. Our sales consultant did express apologies more than once but understandably, you were upset in speaking with her.
