Since they didn't have the GLI white automatic I wanted, they got the vehicle from Camelback VW. I took the vehicle home and saw the car had 400+ miles on the odometer. I immediately called my salesman Josh, who then notified the Sales Manager Andy. Apparently no one at the dealership looked at the odometer when they took delivery of the vehicle. Andy called and after some discussions he said he'd have a replacement vehicle the next day (I had to take the car in before they could get another replacement from Camelback VW). Went in the next day, handed over the car and Andy provided me with a rental for a few hours while they secured a replacement. In about 3 hours they called and I headed to the dealership. I had to wait approximately 2 hours before my paperwork was redone (with new VIN#, etc) so I could be on my way. As I was leaving I noticed there was no owners manual so he retrieved one from another vehicle. On my way home I tried the Nav but saw a message stating the Nav SD card was missing. I asked for it to be mailed to my home but 3 days later I happened to be a few miles away from the dealership so stopped by and picked it up (also taken from another vehicle). The dealership could do well by making sure their new car prep (Service?) department reviews a checklist to make sure the vehicle and all inventory is in place when the keys are handed to the customer. Other than the 3 trips to the dealership I made, (45 minutes each way from my home to the dealership), Andy (Sales Manager) and Josh (Sales) were very easy and pleasant to work with. At no time did I feel pressurized into doing the deal. This was the fourth VW dealership I communicated with before purchasing my vehicle. After doing the deal, salesmen from the other dealerships continued to text me asking if they could earn my business. When I told them what my deal was, they all agreed it was an excellent deal. Sadly, none of them wanted to go the extra mile to earn my business like Andy and Josh. I went to Chapman and am happy for it. If it weren't for the missing items and the additional trips to the dealership, I would have given Chapman VW 5 stars. Once they move to their brand-new dealership it should improve the overall buying experience as well. More
Great Service! I called to schedule some routine maintenance and they got me on the schedule within 2 days. When I went there the service rep (whose name escapes me but it might have been Mike) was great. He answered my questions and got me out of there in one and a half hours. The waiting room was clean and had coffee and snacks ( My only complaint was that they had no decaf coffee.) The price was fair but they didn't give me the form for a rebate on the Castrol oil - they said the service department would mail it to me. (The last time they said that I never got the coupon!) If I don't get it this time I will write a really bad review. But for now they get 5 stars. More

They come at you with one price, then oh wait... there's this fee, this tax, etc. Just wanted an upfront price. Car shopping is painful enough as it is. Hands down the worst experience we've ever had trying to buy a car. They totally live up to the "used car salesman" stereo type. We eventually agreed on a price, got a loan through our bank all ready to go, then they call and tell us they couldn't sell to us for that price. I highly DO NOT recommend this dealership. More

They had the exact model I was looking for in stock. Being in a tight place and needing a car, I sent an email with my price expectations. My salesman Jeff and the Sales Manager Erick contacted me with a great deal around the number I wanted, and had me driving home that night in my new car. Nick worked with my chosen financier and made the purchase process easy and quick. It was a pleasure to have such an easy, honest buying experience. More

It was my very first car buying experience and Reza not only did he make it a super smooth and painless process, but he also hooked me up with an amazing deal and worked with me to meet every single one of my needs staying within my budget. I will definitely be coming back for any future car purchases and would recommend this location to anyone thinking about buying a car. More

Agreed to a price of 29908 with Internet Manager Mr. Drew Costas. Once presented with Price Sheet, there many add-ons like Dessert Protection, Nitrogen, Tint for an additional cost of $1200. I would not pay for those items and they would not sell me the car for the agreed price of 29908. STAY AWAY for unscrupulous Dealership. More

Keystone Kops I purchased a Jetta from them in 2010 and leased a Tiguan from them in 2013. I got a call several weeks ago from Shawn Sicari, saying that they need I purchased a Jetta from them in 2010 and leased a Tiguan from them in 2013. I got a call several weeks ago from Shawn Sicari, saying that they need newer model used Tiguans and he could make me a deal on a new car. I ended up with a 2015 Passat, which I'm happy with. However, on the 7th day after my new lease, I started getting calls from Reza, the sales manager. He called me no fewer than 10 times, saying that they neglected to have me sign a paper. I've been really busy so I never called him back. Next, I had my salesperson, Shawn, start calling me, as well as the General Manager, Radu. They said I had missed a signature. Because they literally wouldn't leave me alone, I had Shawn meet me at Richardson's while I was at dinner with 6 other people so I could sign the stupid form. Of course I thought that would be the end of it, but the following week I had ANOTHER sales manager call me, saying that I missed another signature. By this time I was irate... why didn't Shawn bring it with him when he interrupted my dinner?? At least this guy mailed me the form; I signed it and sent it back. Today I just got a call on my cell phone, then immediately on my work phone. It was the finance guy - and guess what? I missed another signature! He said that if I don't sign it, then I didn't get the deal they had told me. I said, well if that's the case, I'm bringing this car back. He said, "Go ahead!" I asked if my old car was still there and he said, "I don't know - you'd have to talk to a salesman." ARE YOU F&*^&*I^&* KIDDING ME? They're acting like this is all my fault. Um, I apparently missed 3 DIFFERENT signatures - that's on you guys. Failure to do your job correctly does not constitute an emergency on my part. I hung up on him. The best part is that the state of Arizona has not yet been notified of the sale, so I'm getting notices from them that I let the insurance on my Tiguan lapse, when in fact I traded it in 5 weeks ago. I likely will buy another VW, because I do like the cars. But I will NEVER do business with Chapman again.
