I did not feel at all pressured by ANY of the sales people at Charles Toyota. I felt everyone went out of their way to find the vehicle I was looking for at the price I was comfortable with. No one tried to "convince" me to purchase something I wasn't completely happy with. I can't say enough wonderful things about the salesman Kagan. First of all he was very personable and friendly. Kagan was VERY thorough in explaining every detail and listened to what I was looking for. He was very knowlegable about the vehicle I was interested in and he didn't leave any detail unturned. I would highly recommend Charles Toyota to my family and friends when they are lokking for a new or used car. Went there because dash lights came on. I called Colchester Toyota as that is where I bought the car. They wanted me to drive the car there, in the dark, from Norwich and I thought I had no brakes. Then they didn't have loaner cars and I asked them how I would get home and to work the next day. They had no answer for me. So I called Charles, they checked the light and said I need a $380 part. They would order it and it would be in on friday. They were also going to do the oil change. I called them the next day and told them that someone told me to check the gas cap and when I reset it the lights went off. The guy said I still needed the part and he would call when it came in. Well, that was about 3 weeks ago, guess I won't be going there... More
I have used Charles Totoyta to purchase my last two Toyota Camrys. The service depart and the salemen have always been polite and efficient. I have not had to call and complain about the work done. This time the cold, I presume, shattered the drivers' side front door window. I called Charles Toyota and they took my car in the next day. They had to order the window, or I could have gone in immediately. The service people were very helpful and explained the problem, prepared me for the cost before I picked the car up and the women in the office were pleasant, polite,and efficient when I paid my bill. I will definitely go there to buy a new Toyota . I hope that it won't be too soon. I really love this car. I would recommenda this store definitely to my friends. More

It took 4 visits to have the spare electronic key programmed. One visit should have been adiquate. On the 1st visit, the dealer failed to tell me in advance that I neede all the electronic keys pre programmed. One visit should have been adiquate. On the 1st visit, the dealer failed to tell me in advance that I neede all the electronic keys present in order to program the new key. On the 2nd visit, the dealer did not have the Hard Key cut. On the 3rd visit, the electronic key they ordered was incorrect. Finally on the 4th visit, the task was finished. More
Charles Toyota has been servicing my 2003 Camry since I purchased it from them. I would not go anywhere else with my car. The hours of service are very convenient, and if the wait for my car would be too purchased it from them. I would not go anywhere else with my car. The mechanics are excellent, and the service advisors are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Thanks to the quality of the Camry and the service they provide, my car has had no major problems other than routine maintenance in over 93,000 miles. More

Dan and the Charles Toyota personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and processes necessary to have leave in a 2009 Toyota Highlander in @ 4 hours from arriving on the lot. I hesitantly stopped into Charles Toyota as I was expecting High-Pressure BS from a car salespeson. Out stepped Ray McLean, the most courteous, knowledgeable, kind car salesman I've dealt with ever expecting High-Pressure BS from a car salespeson. Out stepped Ray McLean, the most courteous, knowledgeable, kind car salesman I've dealt with ever. Being a single, older woman I expected the worst but was sure proven wrong by Ray. I knew I wanted a Rav4 as I was trading in my 4Runner for smaller, more economical vehicle. Ray thoroughly went over all features of the Rav4, in simple easy to understand words; spent time actually showing me how everything worked; I never felt time constraints with him and can't thank Ray and the dealership enough for their customer service. I also must pass along compliments to Marty, Sales Mgr. and Tommy, Business Mgr. Fortunately I did not have to finance my vehicle but dealing with Tommy and having the warranty thoroughly explained sure made a decision easier to understand and make. Marty, Sales Mgr, was kind and when info on blue book value on my 4Runner was requested, he never hesitated to provide same - he was very understanding and I believe offered best price for my tradein. I highly recommend Charles Toyota, haven't mentioned Service Dept. as I used them on the 4Runner and never had a problem-their customer service is the best. I will be sending all of my friends to Ray, Marty and Tommy - thanx guys, you're the best. Just an aside - when I first bought the 4Runner I had light blinking and did not know what it signified - stopped into Charles Toyota (did not buy 4Runner from charles) and Ray was on the lot, he showed me what the light flashing signified, turned it off and never pressured me to buy another vehicle - truly the best. More
