Checkered Flag Honda

We went to purchase a civic. I work hard everyday for my money, and I expect to be treated with respect when I spend almost 18,000 dollars. They fumbled the process up from the start to the end. We worked with Brandon the first day and it seemed to go well. Then we came back on Saturday and we felt that Chad was rushing us out of the showroom because he didnt have enough salesman to help us.Brandon was not working that day. My wife had called Chad prior to going in on Saturday an he said he would be able to help us. When we left Chad said he would call us on Monday to get a down payment, he never called because he went on vacation and didnt delegate this to anyone. My wife then called on Wednesday and spoke to Ryan to find out what was going on, Ryan said he could run the application but he was not able to finish the deal. We would have to talk to his boss Mike to finish the deal. At this point, we actually had someone who cared about us.We went in on Thursday to talk to Robert to get the deal done.By this point I had pretty much given up on the customer service I recieved from Checkered Flag. Robert was helpful in negotiating the price, but I seemed to be annoyed at all of the other duties Robert was doing while we were negotiating a price. If I am about to spend that much money I expect have undivided attention to the process. Maybe I am different than everyone else, but that is what I expect. We were promised that the car would be ready at 3:30pm on Friday. We went to pickup the car the next day after the paperwork was signed. We pulled onto the lot and the car was still wrapped in plastic. They had the car that morning and it had no even been touched. Brandon was suppose to make sure it had been detailed. My wife had to go back to the dealership to get the car detailed later that day. It is a waste of our time, for someone who couldnt insure that the car was ready when promised. More

I would like to say that my overall buying experience from beginning to end was wonderful. Everyone there was extremely helpful, friendly and willing to help get me in a car. The overall feel of the dealership at Checkered Flag Honda is that everyone gets along well and enjoys working there and everyone there works together. Each sales person helps out the other which is great. All of the people there seem very genuine unlike your stereotypical car salesman which is what I liked. I shopped for cars for a few weeks and went to various dealerships and Checkered Flag was by far the best overall experience. They made me feel right at home right from the get go unlike their competitors. I would recommend them to everyone and will definitely be back in the future. More

My wife and I bought a 2009 Pilot from Checkered Flag after going to every other dealer on the Southside. Checkered Flag met every one of my expectations in regards to price AND service that none of the after going to every other dealer on the Southside. Checkered Flag met every one of my expectations in regards to price AND service that none of the other dealers could meet. They work FAST. They had us in and out in no time which was crucial since we had our 10 month old daughter with us. I had negotiated a price with another dealer and was set to buy from them at that price. On the way to the dealer to purchase the car, I stopped by CF, just to see what they had available. (I checked online and they didn't have the color we wanted). Not only did Chad (Sales Manager) and Eugene (Sales) find the color/model we wanted, Chad beat the price I previous negotiated with the other dealer right off the bat (without even telling him the figure). During this whole process, my wife and I never felt any pressure to buy. If you hate the high pressure, gimmicky car dealerships, and I'm sure you do, stop by Checkered Flag Honda. By far, my best buying experience to date. More
