Why even bother to make an appointment!?!?!? I had an appointment for a car inspection on April 29th at 3 o'clock. I informed the person at the service area that I would be waiting. I was told it was going to be one and a half hours. Well 33 minutes went by and the car was still in the spot I parked it. I went to the service desk and asked why. Well shortly after that I was told that the mechanics were pretty well backed up. If I did not ask who knows how long I would be waiting.( By the way they were going to take care of a recall along with the inspection) Someone could have informed me that the mechanics were backed up and asked me it I still wanted to wait. No consideration at this checkered flag location. The service manager did call me but I was not home. He said he wanted to talk to me about the situation. I returned his call the next day when I received it---but he has never tried to get back with me. More
Two weeks ago I had my Hyundai Genesis Coupe in for a 15,000 maintenance. While the car was at the dealer being service, they called to ask if I wanted to go ahead and have my tires balanced, recommendi 15,000 maintenance. While the car was at the dealer being service, they called to ask if I wanted to go ahead and have my tires balanced, recommending that this was a good thing to do whenever you have the tires rotated. I opted not to. I washed my car last Saturday, the first time since they washed it for me at my service appointment. I noticed that my rear tires had not been rotated. How do I know that, because the front and rear tires are different sizes. They can only rotate the tires from side to side. I have a scratch on the back rear wheel that is not noticable to the eye, but I know its there and I know when I did it. Sooooo glad I did not get ripped off for the tire balancing charge as I did for the tire rotation. More

He is great with numbers and made the paperwork such a smooth, easy process without forcefeeding you needless information. This is the best car buying experience I have ever had in the 12 years I have lived in Va Beach. Hall, Priority and my most hated dealership in the area(Nissan of Chesapeake/Victory Nissan) should take a class taught by Checkered Flag Hyundai in basic car dealership/customer service fundamentals 101 and they might be able to sell more than 1 vehicle a month. Let me start by saying Jason Scheier made the experience of car buying a real pleasure. Jason was patient. We had many questions. Jason had answers, or he would find out the answers. We needed a little time to think. It was a big purchase and we wanted to make sure we were not making a financial mistake, things are a little tight right now. Jason Scheier was not pushy. He encouraged us to take our time and helped us to make an informed decision by showing us all finance options with or without a down payment or trade in. Jason showed us how to compare his price with others on the internet, he said you wont find a lower price, he was right, we couldn't, we tried. Jason covered every scenario so we had all the tools we needed to make the right choice. When we ran out of questions, Jason covered things with us that we didn't even think to ask about. Jason showed us around the service area, told us who our service advisor would be and what the operating hours are and that we get free state inspections. On our way back to the showroom, Jason took on the roll of barista and made us all a nice cup of cappuccino... who does that? Jason Scheier does. He is different. He defines service excellence. Now that I think Jason Scheier should run for president, he takes it up a notch and really blows us away. Papers all signed, keys in hand.... I'm thinking that's it, we just drive off into the sunset now, happy ending, but no. Jason follows us out to the car and goes over EVERY button and feature to make sure mom knows how to work it. How to adjust the seat and the steering wheel, navigation system, radio, heater.... Who does that? Jason Scheier does. I have one more thing to add and then I will stop so you can go meet Jason Scheier yourself. My mom has been through a lot in the last few years. Smiles have been a rare sighting. She has not stopped smiling yet. She loves her new car and has been telling all her friends at church and at the rec center, and me, over and over again.
