Another great experience from Chevrolet of Naperville! I stopped in because I was considering trading in my 2010 Cobalt for a GM Certified Cruze. I hap purchased my Cobalt from Chevrolet of Naperville back in 2010 and had a great experience back then. I had the pleasure of working with Jim McElligott. Jim provided me with another great car buying experience. He was able to work with me and my budget and get me into the Cruze I had spotted when browsing the dealer's web site. Everyone I came in contact with was professional and extremely helpful. I also want to give a shout out to Sherri Pacchiano for providing me with great money saving recommendations for my car purchase. Like Jim, Sherri understood my budget limitations and was really helpful in explaining my options. I love my new Cruze and am looking forward to spending many years on the road with it! Over the years I have purchased two used and eight new vehicles from dealerships and have experienced it all. You know how usually the dealership's original offer price is so high you want to just walk o vehicles from dealerships and have experienced it all. You know how usually the dealership's original offer price is so high you want to just walk out...not here...just a fair price...no insults...I didn't even counter offer. This dealership must have a high priority on people skills...I trusted all the people I dealt with that they sincerely cared about the fairness of my purchase and/or convenience of my financing transactions. I dealt with Dan Troy (Sales Manager) who answered my original questions on a vehicle they had on the lot via email. Dan Troy set me up with Sales Manager Dan Gulley the following day to expertly oversee my purchase. Dan Gulley assigned Donald Prescott as my personal Salesperson...to sum it up, Don very much wanted me to be totally satisfied with my purchase. Don was the best car salesman I ever dealt with...and I've had a couple other good ones. Sherri Pacchiano explained all the services available (OnStar, etc.) including Chevrolet of Naperville's free oil changes for the first two years/24K miles of new vehicle ownership...pretty good deal! Sherri also answered my question about Dan Wolf Automotive Group, owner of Chevrolet of Naperville. Finance Manager Andy Munson had all my paperwork ready to go, answered all my questions and had me out in a friendly timely manner. If you are interested in a new or used vehicle, give Donald Prescott a call at Chevrolet of Naperville...I bet you will purchase from him...he breaks the typical image of a car salesman...to that of being trustworthy. I have been thinking about purchasing a new Corvette for many years and particularly the 2014 C7 Corvette. I stopped at the dealership to discuss availability which I suspected to be quite limited. I discussed availability and pricing with Dan Troy and looked at the dark green convertible that had just arrived the previous evening. After dinner, my wife and I returned to the dealership. Both Dan and Jim Vegetabile worked with us to understand the Corvette's various controls and features leading to our decision to purchase the car. The decision was based on the similarity between the car at the dealership and the vehicle I was considering, and my perception of the limited opportunity to order a similar vehicle. I then worked with Jim to complete the purchase paperwork. Sherri Pacchiano presented the protection plan and OnStar information. Andy Munson presented the maintenance plan information and completed the paperwork. Dan Gulley was offered suggestions on selling my current sports car. Because of the late hour and multiple options in the various packages, I was happy to have some additional time to consider the various plans to determine which best my needs. I was also very pleased that the dealership offered to temporarily store the car due to the winter weather. In summary, the purchase experience meet and exceeded my expectations for professionalism.
