I guess I start from the appointment setting which went somewhat OK for a script. But wouldn't answer my questions as to a vehicle for me to leave it in after dropping my car off at an hour before they clo somewhat OK for a script. She said I would not be stranded though, you have to talk to your service advisor was her only reply multiple times. So I go I believing her and their dealership and I show up for my appointment at 5:10 PM to get written up, drop the vehicle off and leave in a vehicle. Naturally that doesn't happen, I pull up to the rolling door which did not go up. I put my car in park I walk to the door and peek my head in and there's a kid on his cell phone with his feet up on the desk eventually looks up and says can I help you? I said do I need to pull through the door or does it go up on its own and he replies oh I'll put it up for you. I walk up to the service counter after pulling in and I walk up to Ralph Russo, whom doesn't look up until I'm awkwardly standing in front of him in silence. I then realize that he previously helped me back with my 2005 Chrysler 300C which was a complete fiasco with warrantee fraud; I don't want to go on a tangent here but yes part was not replaced but it was in the box on the parts counter shelf to be sent back for warranty money. That was many many moons ago, back to the task at hand. Ralph looks over the car writes me up and naturally when I ask for a vehicle to go home and it's an issue, the girl left at 5 o'clock. Let's see if maybe we can do something he calls over Tony Zarro*. Tony says no the woman at the appointment center shouldn't saying things like that; implying this isn't the first time. (Basically their trying to get the customer to the counter then they are stranded.) Tony then proceeded to tell me I would have to come back in the morning if I want a vehicle. I told him that's unacceptable I literally asked these questions to make sure I wasn't gonna get stranded at the dealer at nearly 6 PM after fighting through Bergen county traffic now having to do it again both ways. My biggest issue is that this previous Thursday I was upfront with the sales department with Jerry the salesman and Manny from finance purchased my three-year lease vehicle that I just got done leasing. We had A fantastic experience in sales and figured let's give service a shot since the last time I was there it was a great experience. Hence my previous 5 start rating. These people are not he for your best interest and are looking to herd the sheep in to get up sold. (Dealer representatives please don't patronize me with a standard response you want me to call you; you had your shot I was there.) Teterboro here I come for the next few years minimum. About a year and a half ago I purchased a vehicle from this dealer and at first I thought I had gotten a good deal on this vehicle but over the course of the past year I realized that the deal i had gotte this dealer and at first I thought I had gotten a good deal on this vehicle but over the course of the past year I realized that the deal i had gotten was not so good and my experience was not the greatest. I was recommended to this dealer due to the fact I had poor credit and little money down and I thought they would help me make a good deal on a vehicle but my financial situation was taken as an open invitation for the salesperson and dealership to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and experience in purchasing a vehicle. I understand that the job of the dealership is to sell vehicles but as human beings should explain thoroughly to the customer exactly what they are getting into before the sign and agree. The salesperson was condescending and borderline rude and lied to my face several times but since this was my first experience buying a vehicle I had no clue. Then when I came down to finalize the deal I was rushed thru the signing of the paperwork in order for me to overlook certain important facts about the vehicle I was purchasing. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I was back a week later with this vehicle being brought in on a tow truck due to a malfunction in the cooling system and had to lose a days pay cuz the work took several hours to do. The only satisfaction I had that day was giving the rude salesperson a piece of my mind and the work was covered by the warranty. I recently went back to this dealer to give them a second chance and to see if I could get a more fair deal than I did before but I was sadly mistaken. Again I was tried to get taken advantage of but at least this time I had enough sense to say no and walk out but now I'm still stuck making very expensive payments on a vehicle that was not worth it. My advice is DO NOT GO to this dealership if you are inexperienced in making deals and or have poor credit. They WILL NOT help you, as much as they make it seem like are being helpful, they are most likely trying to take you for a "ride". Be careful and do your homework before you go to this dealer. More
