We dropped off the car on December 21, 2023, understanding that the service department wouldn’t address the issues immediately. Though they couldn't schedule us until the end of January, they offered to squeeze us in earlier if we could drop it off sooner. Finally, on February 1, 2024, we picked up the car. The experience was far from satisfactory. Multiple times, when we managed to reach our service advisor, she promised to call back later that day or the next, but we wouldn’t hear from her for at least a week, sometimes even three. Each time, we had to call for updates. When we finally retrieved the car, the windows and door were fixed, and they replaced a wastegate solenoid for the turbo issue. However, the major problem of squealing at startup remained unresolved. Despite providing detailed instructions to duplicate the issue, they failed to do so. The problem with the turbo also showed back up on the drive home. Even after our second visit on February 6, where I left an extensive note on the issues, they still couldn’t replicate them. They claimed to have only one technician for their entire workload. Over the subsequent weeks, our attempts to reach them were often met with silence. Finally, they managed to duplicate the squealing problem and suggested replacing the serpentine belt, but they couldn’t replicate the turbo issue. However, upon picking up the car on March 1, 2024, the turbo problem resurfaced during the drive home. It took over an hour and a half to reach the service advisor, who couldn’t confirm if the car was safe to drive. We were given the option to tow it back at our expense with the understanding it would be months before they got to it again. When we got the car home, we discovered damage to the underside due to improper lifting, the rear hatch inoperable and issues with the front passenger door not locking and unlocking properly. All of these are things they worked on. Despite our efforts since December, the problem remains unresolved. We strongly advise against dealing with Brunswick Hyundai, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, all under Step One Automotive Group. They’ll return your car in worse condition with no recourse. More

My experience working with Payton was rewarding and as good as it gets. The whole experience at Brunswick CDJR was excellent but Payton and the fine gentleman who expedited by financial arrangements stand out at the top as the best! I will recommend Payton and CDJR Brunswick to alkl my friends who are in the market for a new vehicle. Brought my 23 Grand Cherokee L in for and oil change and to inspect a rattle in the driver door panel. Appointment was at 10:30am (I was there by 10:20). It's was 1:15pm before I had to ask for my car bac to inspect a rattle in the driver door panel. Appointment was at 10:30am (I was there by 10:20). It's was 1:15pm before I had to ask for my car back because I had somewhere to be. I'd change my own oil but I have 3 free changes left from Jeep Wave. Doesn't take that long to change oil. Ended up never getting the rattle looked at (which they already tried replacing the door panel on a prior appointment to no avail). I get home, and there is oil all over my driveway. I could only imagine the sales process at this dealership is just as bad. I'll never do business here again. More
I bought my vehicle from this dealership in Feb. 2022. They give you your first oil change for free, which I used, so I've continued to take my Jeep back there for regular maintenance. Over the past two years, their methods go back and forth. First I was told to call an 800 number to schedule. I did so. But upon arrival, they said that I was not scheduled. The next time I bring my vehicle back, they said I didn't need to schedule ahead of time. It has alternated like this since I purchased the Jeep. The last two times I brought my vehicle there, I did not schedule. There were no issues. This morning (less than an hour ago), I take my car there at 8:20. The same African American woman who usually greets me (I'm saying that as a descriptor. I don't know her name. I'm not being racist, I'm black too) and tells me that there is only one technician working. Then she said "You have to schedule ahead of time." To which I said "You all go back and forth with this scheduling ahead of time thing." She said "I've been here two years and we've always done scheduling ahead" and I snapped back "Oh no you have not! I promise you that!" She argued with me that they have and walked back into her office and slammed the door. She's either a liar or she's incompetent. I'm not sure which but its one of those issues. This is hands down the ABSOLUTE WORST car service department I've ever worked with. If I could give 0 stars I would, or minus stars even. Their service is horrible, their technicians may or may be there, they have terrible attitudes, etc. If I have to have my car towed to Savannah or Jacksonville I will do that before EVER bringing my car back to this location. You all have my word on that. It's an embarrassment. More

First tried to cancel through dealership however upon checking with CARS, they did not receive any notification. Proceeded to cancel directly through CARS and within 5 days they cancelled and provided check # sent to dealership so dealer can add their portion of the refund. After 10 days I spoke to Gen manager who promised to follow up. now, almost a month later, GM has not returned any calls or messages and I have still not received the refund. GM also said that he had never heard of check going to dealer. Guess he doesn't think the mark up should be part of the refund. More

The customer service was great. I visited the shop because I accidentally hit a tire along I95 and a bar from the bottom on my vehicle went loose which makes my transport unsafe. Michelle accommodated me well although it was a unscheduled visit and tried to have it done that day before holiday strikes. It was a busy day for them too before 4th of July and their mechanic is packed up. She's so amazing and efficient. Thanks to the shuttle service with Victor and Deanna that is so warm every time I visit the place. Great job Brunswick team! More
Stopped in for a simple oil change at 3pm on a Monday. Employees standing around but service woman said they don’t have time to do an oil change today.
