I had a five star experience at this dealership with Joe Griffin. I called up the Sales Director Darlena and asked for someone who would be a good fit to help me with my vehicle. She was waiting for me when I arrived, and she introduced me to Joe Griffin. Joe was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions. He has a no-pressure technique and was an advocate for me throughout the process. I told him I had 20 minutes to make a car deal. He got everyone involved including Finance to get me in and out in time for my next meeting. Hats off to Joe! I would highly suggest using him if you plan to purchase something at this dealership. Got our car serviced and was able to get a vehicle in the meantime. Initially thought it was going to take longer, but happy they were able to expedite the service time. meantime. Initially thought it was going to take longer, but happy they were able to expedite the service time. More
We found the car we were looking for on the Chuck Nash Chevrolet website and we reached out to Darlena Basham, the Internet Sales Manager who told us that the car we wanted was in the parking lot. She too Chevrolet website and we reached out to Darlena Basham, the Internet Sales Manager who told us that the car we wanted was in the parking lot. She took the time to send us a picture of the car and the odometer reading since we wanted to make sure it was a new car . She was very courteous and friendly. We then drove to the dealership and was met at the door by Darlena and Mark Crayton, the Sales Consultant. Both of them were AMAZING and there was no sales pressure. After finalizing on the price, we met with Buddy Crotty, the Finance Manager. Usually finance managers try to pressure you into buying add-ons but I was pleasantly surprised that there was NO SALES PRESSURE. By the time we were done singing the papers, Mark had put the temporary registration plate and we drove the car home. Amazing team here at Chuck Nash and would definitely RECOMMEND them to my friends and family!! More

I bought a used Encore from Chuck Nash San Marcos. I bought it less then 6 months ago and have already been back too many times for repairs. They changed the brakes before I bought it and forgot to put bought it less then 6 months ago and have already been back too many times for repairs. They changed the brakes before I bought it and forgot to put grease. They said it "should" be ok. They didn't think they were damaged. Not to promising. They also chipped my paint and covered it up with what looks like paint that doesn't match, and didn't care. The service rep who helped me had an I don't care attitude. I took it back for an oil change. Car is running rough. Buzzing sound coming from dash. They think it may be transmission going out. Made arrangements to take it back. Two days later check engine light on, squeeling, and won't stay running. This time the service rep is GREAT! I know he knows how frustrated I am. I am paying so much for a new to me car, working two jobs and having to deal with all this together with having to buy a new battery because the car left me stranded. Needless to say I regret my decision to have bought a car from them. Got a call. Corrosion in the engine. Looks as if maybe this car was in a flood. I asked for them to wait and give me quote before doing work. I received a call saying repairs are done. Wait a minute, I have so many questions. If corrosion is in there and it already caused something to break, damage a coil thingy and my plugs and some. Corrosion already through the engine. Just an accident waiting to happen. More damage will show. I don't like the answers they give me telling me that just the way it is, or they do that sometime. I know there is more corrosion. It's already moved through damaging some things. Did they automagically get it rid of it out of the whole engine? Now I have to take it somewhere else to see so I can take it back to them and prove my case. I am a single mom working two jobs. This is the last thing I need. I guess it will be a call to Mr. Chuck Nash. More
Ron, Mark, and Chuck made the process of buying a new car seamless from the moment I arrived at the dealership. I went in there and bought a used car over a week ago still waiting for a tire sensor.i was told they would deliver it.then they said they didn’t have a drive so I drove an hour to the dealership and the still waiting for a tire sensor.i was told they would deliver it.then they said they didn’t have a drive so I drove an hour to the dealership and they stalled me for three hours trying to fix it last minute than my salesman goes home, the tech working on the car goes home and they knowingly give me a unfixed car also the day I bought the car there was two keys now there is only one the manager Amy didn’t seem to care or fix the problem either I wouldn’t recommend or buy another car from them again More
I live in Iowa and saw a truck on Chuck Nash's San Marcos website that caught my eye. They had several pictures on their website but no closeups (other than the interior). I talked to the salesperson and tol website that caught my eye. They had several pictures on their website but no closeups (other than the interior). I talked to the salesperson and told them that I would be flying down to pick it up and driving 20+ hours home and asked if there were any mechanical issues or dents/dings that I should know about and they assured me it was in great shape other than a little repair on a seat. So I flew down to pick it up. They did have someone pick me up at the airport, which was nice. When I got to the dealership they showed me the truck and it appeared to be in good shape except for a black wet and sticky spot (the truck was black too) about 1/4 inch by 3 inches on the side of the back quarter panel. When I pointed it out to the salesperson they said they had a big storm blow through and it was just tree sap. I thought about having them wash it again but I wanted to get on the road and knew I would be washing it after I got home as it would be dirty from the drive -- BIG MISTAKE taking him at his word. it was very busy and their finance guy was backed up so I gave them a $45,000+ check and signed some papers and hit the road and they said they would mail me my paperwork. I got home the next day and washed the truck and the glob washed off to expose a big scratch in the back quarter panel that was into the gel coat. They had put touch-up paint on it before I got there and it hadn't dried yet. I sent a picture to my salesman (who told me it was tree sap the day before) and he said that he would talk to the used car sales manager. He then called me back and said that they discounted the price to account for that. I asked him why they tried to cover it up instead of pointing it out and explaining it to me. He said they subcontract their prep work and they must have done it (but it was still wet paint when i picked it up????). So I spent $45,000+ on a vehicle and another $945 to have the scratch repaired and quarter panel repainted. And they said there is nothing they would do to offset the cost. I AM NOT A SATISFIED CUSTOMER! I would caution anybody who is buying a vehicle from Chuck Nash Auto Group if you are from out of state. Have them send you closeup pictures of the exterior of the vehicle before you make plans to travel down and buy one from them. I learned a $945 lesson. More
