I went to Ditschman/Flemington Ford needing to buy a new car but not very enthusiastic about having to do so. I was introduced to Fred Kress, who did a great job navigating my vague notions about what kind car but not very enthusiastic about having to do so. I was introduced to Fred Kress, who did a great job navigating my vague notions about what kind of vehicle I was looking for, made helpful suggestions, and let me sit in and test drive as many cars as I wanted. I found Fred's input to be constructive; he was not pushy and I did not feel pressured to try something outside my budget. It probably took some creative thinking, but Fred established what my parameters and requirements were, and in a relatively short time I found a vehicle I absolutely LOVE! By the time I left that day, I had forgotten that I didn't want to buy a car in the first place. I would recommend anyone even remotely considering Ford to visit Ditschman, and if you can, seek out Fred (although I'm sure there are plenty of helpful folks at the dealership if Fred proves to be too popular). You will become acquainted with some great vehicles in a friendly, respectful atmosphere. I personally love my 2013 Ford Edge, but if those who aren't into the Crossover/SUV category, I really liked the new Focus more than I expected to. I could have been happy with it, but then I found the Edge and it was absolutely perfect for me. I was also really pleased with the time Fred spent going over the features in my car when I went to pick it up, and I know I can call on him again if I have questions. I also have to give a shout-out to Chris Callahan (even though he's a NE Patriots fan) because he was helpful and took the time to explain my options to me without pressuring me to "add on" things I didn't really want or need. He was nice and funny, so I almost didn't mind handing over a chunk of change to him. So, in short, if you're in the market for a new vehicle, go to Ditschman/Flemington Ford. I intend to keep my Edge for a very, very long time, but if not for that fact, I would go and buy a car from them again tomorrow. I will definitely send friends and family who are interested in a Ford to Fred. Thanks for a really great experience! More
