I went to City to look at an SUV. I had done my research on the car. I had also done my research on 5 other SUVs at other dealers. I was placed with Ray C for the conversation and tes I had done my research on the car. I had also done my research on 5 other SUVs at other dealers. I was placed with Ray C for the conversation and test drive. Couldn’t have been a better experience with Ray. Told him I hate car salesmen and he said he could understand as many are terrible. Told him I didn’t want any negotiation, let’s just get to the lowest price immediately and he worked with me. I actually had no intention on buying the vehicle because I had another car at a different dealership that I liked. I just went to City because my spouse liked this car. However, the experience was so nice and the deal so good I couldn’t leave without the beautiful 3 row Tiguan. Ray had me in and out in no time. The Finance gentlemen had the same approach. He actually told me that many of the extra coverages didn’t make sense for my situation. I would recommend Ray and the finance man to anyone. They both were knowledgeable, up front, and quick. I had contacted City VW of Chicago a few weeks back to ask them to inform me if they received an ID.4 which became immediately available for sale (there is a very long delivery time on them). Early last week, I received a call from Charles Diaz informing me that an ID.4 had become available. From that moment onwards, Charles and his colleagues did everything possible to make sure that I became the satisfied new owner of the car. Charles is a real attribute to both City VW of Chicago and to VW as a brand. His demeanor and attitude were absolutely first class. He was extremely personable and professional and not in any way "pushy". I really felt as though I had a partner in the transaction rather than "being sold" a car. Well done and thank you Charles!
