A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Does not care about the customer at all. My family got their cars there and I thought I would too. Big mistake. Seems like employees don’t know what’s going on. I got the car and later on when I went back to the dealership for service I found out that I wasn’t giving any license plates. I only had the papers that say the name of the dealership. Then they told me that I was suppose to have plates or I could get fine. The whole time I was there no one seemed to know why I didn’t have plates. At some point they called the sales person and they said that they did put plates. But I don’t recall leaving with plates. I even asked them to check the cameras to see if in fact they had out plates. So I was out here driving without plates because of an employee error? And the main reason this really got to me was because I was told I could go there and get my service done but for things that were not included. But then I went (on the day this happened) and they had told me something completely different than when I was signing the papers. Inform your people better and make sure everyone knows what’s going around so you don’t get upset customers. To be honest at this point I feel like I was scammed at getting this awesome car. Save yourself the trip here. More
