You may be wondering why I never take my car in for service since I purchased it back in 2018. Frankly it is because I don’t trust Claremont Toyota. The issue it not with the service department, but fi service since I purchased it back in 2018. Frankly it is because I don’t trust Claremont Toyota. The issue it not with the service department, but finance. When I purchased the vehicle, the finance guy at the time implied that my credit score didn’t qualify for 0.9% financing and charged me 1.9%. About two weeks later, Toyota Financial send me notice that I qualify for the 0.9% and adjusted my account accordingly. This is main reason why I will never purchase another vehicle or consider giving my business to Claremont Toyota unless I’m truly out of option. As for my first service experience, it was par or 2.5 out of 5 stars at best. I give this rating because (1) the appointment check in line was extremely long considering that I already showed up early, (2) the wait time of 2hrs despite the work was completed within the quoted window is too long for me, (3) my service advisor told me that my tires needs to be replaced though I purchased a new set less than a year ago, (4) the Lyft 10 mile credit was not enough as my home is 11 miles away accordingly to Google (note I get a loaner every time I bring in my BMW for service). I’m not certain if I will be back again for service, but most likely not if I can time both my BMW and Toyota to be serviced in Ontario. I’ve decided to conclude my final rating to 3 out of 5 stars as I received a follow up call from Customer Relations Department. Though they promise that my experience will be better should I give them another opportunity, I am however still disappointed that they didn’t try to make my current experience any better. More

I’ve been going there for service on my past Toyotas and current Toyota Tacoma. This is my first time having Toyota Care on my vehicle. I will say that Kevin is great as an advisor. However, I’m a little current Toyota Tacoma. This is my first time having Toyota Care on my vehicle. I will say that Kevin is great as an advisor. However, I’m a little annoyed (the reason for the 3 stars) in that I just learned that on my first trip to Claremont for service on this truck (Oscar Vergara was the service advisor), an oil change was not done. When scheduling my appointment online, I always select the Claremont Toyota factory recommendation service for the mileage interval, which includes an oil change. I was not told that they were only going to perform the Toyota Care and that it didn’t include an oil change or I would’ve paid for one, which I did during this service. The first oil change is important as you want to get rid of shavings or any debris from the engine breaking in. More
Display went out on my 2021 highlander hybrid and part was special ordered. Took about a week to get in. Drop car off for my 11am appt got a call late afternoon saying it was wrong part. They said they’d call me in 3-4 days with new part and it’s been 10 days. I paid for extra gestures to start car on my phone and can’t even activate it without display working and can’t control gps ac music anything and went in a 13 hour road trip hoping this would be done but it wasn’t. I come from Whittier as well to Claremont and hasn’t been good. More
