I had to go in for the 30,000 mile car maintenance and was serviced by Service Consultant, Olive as my usual consultant was not working that day. Olive tried to sell me services my car did not need and go was serviced by Service Consultant, Olive as my usual consultant was not working that day. Olive tried to sell me services my car did not need and good thing I had my dad with me. My supposed $607 bill dropped to a $200 bill after we had her remove the extra not needed services. My car has a TRD non disposable (you can wash it) air filter installed in my car from when I first purchased it at this same dealership. I told her that and she told me she would put their paper filter in my car and put the TRD filter on the side (in my car). Upon pick up, I wanted to make sure that I still have my TRD air filter in my car and then she STRAIGHT UP lied to mine and my dad’s face when she said there wasn’t a TRD filter installed and the one my car had was only the paper filter. I told her that was funny as it was one of the selling points of my car and that when I first got the car, I checked to see if the TRD air filter was there and installed and it was, so it was suspicious and weird that she was telling me it was not. She then called the car technician who worked on my car, and low and behold!! My car actually did have the TRD filter and they were just going to throw it out or maybe steal and keep it for themselves?? Luckily by checking and having Olive go an “extra step” by checking, I was able to keep my non-disposable filter. Like what the heck Toyota Claremont?! Stop being sneaky and be professional!! My advice is to take someone with you who knows about cars or they will steal your car parts and up sell you on services your car may not even need! More

Having paid well over price when I bought the Prius new, I thought lifetime oil change was something I paid for, not some sort of gift. The service department has not been accommodating when I have had war I thought lifetime oil change was something I paid for, not some sort of gift. The service department has not been accommodating when I have had warranty work, and the one time my wife took the car to the dealer for an oil change, she spent $400 on a "tune up" which consisted in check the ball joints, struts, fluid levels, etc. all items that were looked at rather than improved. I won't buy a new car until this one wears out, but I won't buy a Toyota in any case. More
