Review / Complaint Draft I leased a vehicle from Courtesy Nissan on April 24, 2024, and as of December 13, 2025, I discovered that I am required to pay a property tax on the leased vehicle—an amount Courtesy Nissan on April 24, 2024, and as of December 13, 2025, I discovered that I am required to pay a property tax on the leased vehicle—an amount that is more than half of my monthly lease payment. At no point during the sales or finance process was this disclosed to me. Neither the sales associate, Damien Bates, nor the finance department informed me that I would be responsible for a separate annual property tax that was not included in my lease payment. This is a significant financial obligation, and failing to disclose it is unacceptable. When I contacted Courtesy Nissan today and asked to speak with a sales associate, I was transferred back to the operator instead of being helped. I have left multiple messages for management and have yet to receive a response. It is extremely concerning that a sales associate would either not know—or not disclose—that leased vehicles are subject to property tax paid directly by the customer. That reflects either serious incompetence or intentional deception. As of today, my vehicle has under 5,000 miles, and I feel completely misled, deceived, and taken advantage of by this dealership. Customers deserve full transparency when entering a lease agreement, especially regarding major financial obligations. I strongly caution others: do not lease a vehicle from Courtesy Nissan unless you independently verify every cost. Based on my experience, critical details are not fully disclosed. More

Check your vin prior to purchase, please. I attempted to purchase a certified pre-owned vehicle from this location. Arriving at the location, I was shocked to see over $5k in fees added to my purchase cost. We were told the certification cost additional, but it's well worth it due to the quality of the vehicle. We were able to haggle out the $5k fee and bring the $1700 fee down to $9. We requested the vehicle be delivered to our home that evening. The vehicle was delivered and showed no signs of issues. The following morning, my spouse drove 1 mile away from home, and the check engine light came on. We take the vehicle back the following day, and we are informed that the vehicle has extensive issues involving the engine that must be fixed. We attempted to start to refund the process, but all of our communications were ignored. When I finally got ahold of an associate, they let me know I could return the keys to have my down payment returned. I let the associate and sales manager know I'd be doing that the following day. When I got into the store, I was told immediately by the same manager I informed the night before that I could not return the keys. I was informed I was now outside of the 3 day window for returns for the vehicle and that essentially a newer vehicle would have been a better choice and lowered my risk of mechanical issues. When I asked why the associate the night before told me I could return the vehicle, the manager stated that the associate was a low level sales consult that did not know the refund process of the store. Even with the associate providing incorrect info and the vehicle being returned 2 days after the sale date, and the vehicle having engine issues 1 day after purchase. I was still not going to be issued a down payment. I attempted to leave the keys on the office as I have no financing attached to this vehicle either. The manager said I'd get into trouble if I left the keys at the location. I took the keys with me, fearing I'd be in some type of trouble for leaving them. The manager let me know he would have someone call me regarding other options, no call was ever received. I called multiple times only to be forward to voicemails. I started to do more research on the vehicle's vin. I discovered the vehicle was sold to them via auction. The vehicle was noted as having engine damage plus a check engine light on prior to them purchasing. We were not informed of any engine damage, nor was the engine damage noted in the carfax. After a quick review of some of their other certified vehicles, I found at least 4 different vehicles on the auction site that showed minor-severe damage. In my opinion this dealership is possibly purchasing damaged vehicles from auctions, barely fixing them, then selling them to clients without disclosing the prior damage. I also suspect the certification inspections are not being performed up to manufacturers standards. I suspect this because an entire engine leak was missed in the vehicle we tried to purchase. I'd do a vin search before purchasing any vehicles from this dealership. You may be surprised what you find out. More
Came in to get a screw out of the door in order for me to change the door handle myself, i already knew the diagnoses, the screw was stripped; if they couldn't get the screw out, I would have to basically ta change the door handle myself, i already knew the diagnoses, the screw was stripped; if they couldn't get the screw out, I would have to basically take apart the door or cut through the other side.. I asked Shauna how much will it be to get the screw out she said $150. Came back to pick up the car, they said they weren't able to get the screw out. BUT CHARGED ME $150 TO TELL ME THE THING I ALREADY KNEW: THAT THE SCREW WAS STRIPPED AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO GET IT OUT ANOTHER WAY. Shauna was gone, but the 2 guys there said they would keep my car until that $150 was paid. Wouldn't let us speak to anybody, else. Paid $150 for Nissan to look in the hole at the screw and tell me something I just told them. Did not ask for a diagnostic, I asked for a screw to be taken out. The guy i spoke to when picking it up was rude and doesnt have customer service skills. More
