My experience involved mendacity (or ignorance) and price gouging. The website offered one price, but an additional $10k was added to the price when it came to the contract. I specifically asked if there was an origination fee for the financing and was told that there would not be. There was a ≈$1000 loan origination fee on the financing paperwork. Even prior to those issues, I was given multiple (erroneous) delivery dates for the vehicle I had already paid earnest money. When I brought the fact that several other dealers within the auto group and other area dealers had the vehicle I desired in stock, miraculously the vehicle was available within a few hours. At closing, attempts ere made to hard sell me on 'services' and 'warranties' of which I had no interest...and informed them of this fact....yet they persisted to attempt a sale. More
