Cross Country Road Trip with unplanned stop in Hickory, NC On Feb 5th, were well on our way from Massachusetts enroute to Pahrump,Nevada in our brand new F350 Super Duty (1,100 miles) and to say the truck is On Feb 5th, were well on our way from Massachusetts enroute to Pahrump,Nevada in our brand new F350 Super Duty (1,100 miles) and to say the truck is packed to the max is an under statement. All was going well when we stopped at the Catawba rest area on I-40 for lunch. When we started the truck to get back on our way, it didnt want to start, running very rough, little power & didnt want to upshift. Yup, we got that error message picture of a wrench on the dash . We scoured our manual...shut it off, restarted, re-read the manual.....to no avail. Truck was in "Limp Mode". We searched for Ford dealerships on our phone. Cloninger Ford was not too far away! We pulled into their service center (a beautiful building, I might add) . They greeted us with smiles, and how can we help you today? We explained our dilemma. They were in go mode! Wrote up a service order, & got the truck right in. We were very comfortable in the customer waiting area, everyone was friendly & made a point to greet our dog, Barker, as well. We were there about an hour when they told us we were all set to be back on our way. (A chafed wire was the problem & shorted out to the computer. They replaced the wire & we are good to go!). We are very pleased with their efforts to get us quickly back on the road to continue our long journey ahead. We don't have any of their names to praise, but we want to thank them all for their smiles, efficiency & beautiful, comfortable dealership. You were Awesome! More

Couldn't pass it up I went to have my 2016 F-150 serviced. While I was just looking around, Matt offered to help me find a newer truck.
