I will never buy another car from Cloninger Ford of Morganton as long as Adam is GM. He is rude and has the personality of a fish! I own a Turo car rental business and have bought 7 cars from them this Morganton as long as Adam is GM. He is rude and has the personality of a fish! I own a Turo car rental business and have bought 7 cars from them this year plus recommended them to some friends but I bought a Kia from them and the motor went out 4 months later which I understand isn’t their fault but since I am such a loyal customer, I thought they’d at least agree to help me with the $6000 bill on a $20,000 car. Instead he corrected me and said it had been 5 months since I bought the car. What kind of response is that??? I told him that’s semantics and beside the point. He basically told me he didn’t care if I ever bought another car from them. I like to do business with people that appreciate me giving them my hard earned money, if my business doesn’t mean more than that, I will never be back. I just hate that some their amazing staff has to work for such a selfish know-it-all that is close minded and has antiquated morals. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Cloninger Ford of Morganton! More

I took my husbands new truck in because it had a recall on the wiper motor. I called, made an appointment for the following week, I received a text confirming my appointment and a text confirming that the part that I had requested had arrived at the dealership. I took time off of work, drove the truck to the dealership that is 20 minutes away, waited 1.5 hours for the work to be performed. Took the truck home and at the first sign of rain my husband calls to tell me that the windshield wipers do not work, same issue. He called the service department and was told that they did not know when they would be able to get that part in and that they did not perform any service on our truck, the wiper motor was not replaced. I wasted over two hours with travel, why did they have me just sit for 1.5 hours in the waiting room for nothing. Is it because I was a women that you thought you could pull this on me? I am just a wife that was doing a favor for my husband on HIS truck and what was done is highly unethical. We will never bring our truck back for service and at this point I highly doubt we will ever purchase a vehicle from this dealership. More

Charlie Kaylor was great through the whole purchase process. All dealings were completed over the phone. When picking up the Bronco Sport the final paperwork was quick and easy. I had no problems buying my truck(I see now I just got lucky) almost a year ago and recommended my fiancé to buy her car from them thinking we could trust them. They found a car she liked but after she was approved and signed everything said that that car had too many problems(which I think was a lie because they had messed up the list price) and that they couldn’t sell it to her. They promised to make it right and We went over a few options and they said one of their employees just traded in a car that fits what’s she’s looking for and is very reliable…she hadn’t even made the first payment on it and she has to beat on her battery to even get it to start, all the sensors started malfunctioning, it has stalled and stopped working TWICE WHILE DRIVING!!!!(DANGEROUS). We didn’t deserve this treatment and knowing they knew about its issues(was an employees car) it just shows how little they care about their reputation. I was wanting to upgrade my vehicle but after this we will be doing business elsewhere. More

After screwing up an oil change and costing me over $7000 in damages (the sister dealer I took it too confirmed it was an error in the oil change that caused the issue) gave this dealership another chance and let them fix an oil leak on a different truck, spending another almost $8000. It started leaking again within 2 weeks. When contacted about it Jonathon told me to take it to another dealer because it has a 2 year warranty on their work. Finally, Jonathon was supposed to submit a reimbursement request to Ford for a recall that I paid them to do (yet another story of incompetence on this dealerships part) but never received the $1000 back. Please do not trust the service department to take care of your diesel trucks. And do not trust a word that comes out of Jonathan's mouth. More
