I’ve purchased 2 cars from Colonial Dodge and would rate the sales experience extremely high. The issue is their service department, which will prevent me from doing any future business with them. The quality of their workmanship is poor and makes it hard to believe all the technician certification plaques they have on the wall are for people that actual work there. The issues I’ve had are too long to list in this review, but here are a few words of advice for anyone who decides to try their service department. 1)Check all their work COMPLETELY before leaving the dealership. They replaced a failed electronic door lock and in the process broke off the manual lock knob. They also reinstalled the door panel incorrectly so when I opened the sliding door it jammed. 2)Don’t fall for the SAFETY line. They’ll always find additional issues and when you say no, will tell you it’s a safety issue and you shouldn’t be driving the car. I caught them lying about my brakes that had been checked a week before elsewhere when the tires were replaced. 3)Compare prices. They charged me almost $300 to replace 6 spark plugs, which the other local dealer does for $175 and now gets all my service business. 4)If you purchased an extended warranty with the car, let them know before they start work. They openly admit their sales and service groups operate independently and only new car Chrysler plans are shared between their systems. Also, check directly with the warranty provider about coverage. They told me a repair was not covered and when I called the warranty provider, they said it was and sent me check. More
With "not so great credit", we went to Colonial with little hope of a great deal, with a great rate, on a great car. I'm so happy to say, WE GOT ALL THREE. It's one thing when you want to buy a new car, but my husband and I had no choice, as our vehicle had died. I was very apprehensive which changed the moment we met Dave. He really took the time to know what I wanted. The most important thing was low mileage, good on gas, but sporty and cute. First car he showed me I wanted. He really listened, and was a joy to work with. Jay worked the money, and we left with one rate, and the next day when we came to pick up the car, he called us in and told us he got us a better rate. I'd say it was better ... 5.2 better. We didn't even ask him to try and work the numbers better but he cut our car payment down by $60 a month. We were overjoyed. Jay really worked hard to get us in something we could afford, and Dave got me a great car! I would recommend these guys to ANYONE who needs, wants, and is ready to buy. I will definitely be back when my daughter is ready to buy her first car next year!!!! More

We tried another Jeep dealer in the area, but their inventory was not as good. We saw the Patriot that we wanted listed on the Colonial site, and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. They took the time to find deals the other dealer had not found. We will gladly be returning for any other Chrysler/Jeep products in the future. More
it was the best car buying experience i ever had, peirod. i am a very bissy professional and do not have much time to shop around much. unfortunately, before i went to colonyal dodge i shopped a lot of othe i am a very bissy professional and do not have much time to shop around much. unfortunately, before i went to colonyal dodge i shopped a lot of other dodge dealerships but it was a wast of time. i am so glade that i called jared that day, after a 5 min phone conversation i went to the dealership and chosed the color of my brand new dodge caliber and signed the paper work with jay bhatty the finance manger he explained every detail about my finance options and treated me with professiomalism, in about 2 hours i was driving my new car home. i would recommend cololnial dodge to all my friends a family. i recommend my sale person jared and jay to every one thanks guys for a good job More
We have been using this dealership now for several years, both for purchases and service, and have been very pleased with with the staff at Colonial Dodge. We have purchased two Dodge Caravans and two Jeep both for purchases and service, and have been very pleased with with the staff at Colonial Dodge. We have purchased two Dodge Caravans and two Jeep Patriots over the years, and each time the staff made the purchase process very easy. We like that the sales staff is not pushy and work with finance to find the right vehicle, right price, and right trade in value to make the process work. Our latest purchase was just last week, and the business manager Jay Bhatty was extreamly helpful working the numbers and explaining the process. He and the staff worked together getting us in and out and on the road with our new 2011 Jeep Patriot, and they have followed up to make sure we happy with the vehicle. We have recommended others to try Colonial Dodge when looking for a vehicle and service, and will continue to do so. jr. More
This is my 3rd purchase with Colonial Jeep. I can't begin to tell you how great their sales staff was all the way from salesman to sales manager to finance. He exceeded my expectations and gave me out of 7 other dealers not only a great price but finance rate as well. Reccomend this dealer, most deffinatly. More

He was arrogant and cocky, then tried every scam in the finance manager handbook. The salesman Brian was awesome, but there finance manager was to say the least an ass. I would not recommend this dealer to my worst enemy nor any dealer that carries the Colonial name. I got approved the very next day with Glick Nissan on a Truck that I really wanted. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! More

I would not have made this purchase if I did not deal with Chris Farias and Tony the sales mgr. I located the truck online and called to see if it was still available and spoke to a salesperson, Kevin. He was the most difficult person to deal with from giving me misinformation about the Massachusetts Lemon Law warranty which is 60 days regardless of mileage, he told me 90 days based on 60k miles, to telling me to "be prepared to buy " because he did not want to waste his time!!! I decided I was no longer interested and would find something closer to me this dealer was 45 min - 60 min away. I got a call from Tony explained why I wasn't interested he put me it touch with Chris and from there Chris had to do alot of work to get me to sign. He handled himself proffesionally and politely and addressed every little concern I had (after dealing with the Kevin, I wanted everything perfect and would not accept anything less!) Chris was awesome, he got me parts, a new owners manual, the extra 30 warranty on the Lemon Law, they honored Kevin's misinformation, and he drove the truck to my mechanic to look at and them delivered the truck all registered ready to go! I was very impressed with the friendliness and the willingness to help and answer all my questions about my new truck. Every part of the financial arrangements were explained to my wife and I and all questions were answered in detail. The salesman even helped me clean out my old truck before I drove the new one home.
