My first visit to Colonial Honda. Also, my first attempt to purchase a Honda product. Every single person we encounted was friendly and wanted to assist us. We purchased a brand new Honda CR-V. Barry was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Honda we were interested in. Even after advising him that we would be looking at the Toyota RAV-4, he was helpful and gave us his full attention. Barry, spent time with us, showing us the Honda and all the features. After visiting the Toyota dealership, we returned to Colonial Honda and once again was greeted by Barry, who gave us his total attention. Barry made us feel very comfortable, and did not pressure us. His concern for our interests and needs was genuine, and the sale of the vehicle did not appear to be his main focus. I would definitely recommend Colonial Honda to my friends, and I will tell them of the great experience we had. More
For the first time ever purchasing a car, new or used, do I feel like my needs, likes and concerns were the primary concern of everyone at this dealership. Brought my 2007 CRV in for service and when asked Shawn where to go he walked by an ignored. Me. So I approched him and said very rudley yeah when I'm done with this customer shaking his head and refused t where to go he walked by an ignored. Me. Had a great experience with their service dept. Prompt & friendly. However, as stated on other reviews, we did get the "run around" during the purchase of our new Honda (which took us about 4 months). & friendly. Moral of my story one might ask? ... their service dept. has it's strong points, but, stick to your guns when it comes to purchasing a vehicle from these guys. At the end of the day, we're all dealing with a "salesman". More
My husband and I flew to Rhode Island for a few days with the sole purpose of buying his 84-year old mother a car. After doing much research we drove to your dealership. We test drove several Honda Accords the sole purpose of buying his 84-year old mother a car. After doing much research we drove to your dealership. We test drove several Honda Accords with Barry, who was very nice and helpful. After we finished the test drive we were ready to buy a Honda Accord SE from Barry until Greg came over to negotiate the deal. We tried repeatedly to make several fair offers for the car, but were told rudely that our offers we not acceptable. He never offered a counter offer and then just got up and left Barry's office, leaving us all sitting there awkwardly looking at each other. He never said good-bye, or anything, just got up and walked away. So we got up, thanked Barry for his time, and left without buying the car. The following day we bought a VW Passat from Balise Nissan, who were professional and a delight to deal with. Having bought many cars before, I have NEVER, experienced anything like this. It was the worst and most bizarre car-buying experience we have ever had. I have told many people already of this experience and will continue to tell potential customers not to buy a car from your dealership. Regards, Mary Sullivan. More
