I've found Colonial Honda to be an overall great place. They have a group of sales people that are genuinely nice people. The price-haggling was a great experience - no rolling of the eyes or "games". Just a genuinely good person on the other side of the desk. To add compliment to good fortune, there was a minor adjustment needed for the door lock. They took me in right away and repaired it pronto. Overall, excellent experience and excellent service from the sales person (Barry Otto). Barry goes "all out" to make sure you're treated like a friend. Very nice man. Highly recommend Colonial Honda. I had a very unpleasant experience with this dealership and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever seen and they are not willing to negotiate and I would not recommend this place to anyone. They advertised a used car that I was interested in at a low price but then wanted to charge me an $895 dealer prep fee to apparently make up the difference. I felt this was very misleading and a little deceptive and I wouldn't pay it. They should just advertise the car for what they want to sell it for and not jack up the price with fees. I did receive several phone calls and emails with offers to help to no avail. The general manager, Nick Sturgis, responded to one of my e-mails I sent him explaining my situation and said he would see what he could do. I never heard from him again. It has taken one request in person, one phone call, two e-mails (with the last one threatening to place a complaint with the Better Business Bureau), and one month to finally get my $100 deposit refunded. I didn't receive any kind of apology from them for the inconvenience I was put through. They didn't even let me know when the credit was processed. I had to check my account to see if the credit was there. However, I did receive an e-mail the same day the credit posted telling me about their fabulous sale and inviting me to come in. I can't believe it. I'm an irate customer and they continue to send me e-mails about their sales...unbelievable. Like I said, extremely poor customer service. More

My family decided it was time to move into a minivan, and our research led us to the Honda Odyssey. I came across a 2011 Odyssey at Colonial Honda of Dartmouth with an appropriate mileage and price tag and called to make an offer on it. The personnel at Colonial were polite and professional on the phone and accepted my offer. I took the family down there from Boston that same day to make the purchase. All went smoothly. At home that evening I noticed some details I had missed while at the dealership. The deal on paper wasn't the same as the deal I had anticipated after my phone conversation. My wife and I asked about the difference when we returned to pick up the car, but the manager on duty wasn't able to help us immediately. I became concerned that we were going to get an all-too-typical runaround now that the sale had been made and that the dealership was going to blow me off along with my concerns. I'm very happy to say that Colonial Honda did no such thing! When they were able to hear my concern in full, Colonial Honda made a quick and complete resolution to the issue and made me a satisfied customer! Giving automotive dealerships everywhere a good name, I can now confidently recommend Colonial Honda of Dartmouth as a business that genuinely puts customers first! More

When I walked in and found that Ric Ferreira was still there...that made me VERY happy!!! It's always nice to see a familiar face when a business changes hands. Every time I go for any type of service or an inspection sticker, I'm always greeted with an enthusiastic smile! It's like visiting family! I rate this dealership very highly! 5 plus!!! Just recently, I turned in my 2011 CR-V for a 2013 model. I feel I received a very fair deal. My salesperson was Carmelo Colon...a very pleasant young man. He basically listened to what I wanted and after confurring with Kevin, a sales manager, I signed on the dotted line. They both worked very diligently to give me exactly what I requested. I told a friend about how "I went in for a sticker and came out with a new CR-V" !!. She went right down to Colonial and bought the one I turned in!! I know she'll be treated as well as I was. I recently purchased a 2013 Honda CRV EX from Colonial Honda via their Internet Sales Channel. Not only did Colonial Honda have the best price of the three other dealerships I contacted, they had the best Honda via their Internet Sales Channel. Not only did Colonial Honda have the best price of the three other dealerships I contacted, they had the best service and customer ratings. My sales person Joe Zekus was fantastic, going above and beyond what I expected from a car salesman. His professionalism didn't end after he made the sale, but continued even after the vehicle purchase was complete. I got the car I wanted at the price that I wanted, without any pressure to buy before I was ready. I can highly recommend Colonial Honda - this is my second Honda purchased from them and each experience has been better than the last. More
