I went to 3 different hyndai and gennisis dealerships, all of which I was not 100% sure with. When I arrived at colonial hyndai Mohammed gave me a warm welcome and already had multiple cars in mind that c all of which I was not 100% sure with. When I arrived at colonial hyndai Mohammed gave me a warm welcome and already had multiple cars in mind that could satisfy my budget and meet my needs. He made sure that I took all of them through a test drive! Hands down one of the most personable and friendly dealers I had ever worked with. He always had my best interest in mind! More

They reached out to me about the vehicle I was interested in. The next day, I was emailed by the online sales manager as well as a salesman. I wrote to both of them and told them I was going to come in that in. The next day, I was emailed by the online sales manager as well as a salesman. I wrote to both of them and told them I was going to come in that day to look at the vehicle because I was very interested. I test drove a different vehicle that morning, and then I was headed to Colonial Hyundai after. This dealership was about an hour and fifteen minutes away from me. I never heard back until I was almost thirty five minutes away and I get told that the Mini was sold the day before. Yet they had other vehicles on the lot that I could look at. I was coming to see the Mini. Not a Hyundai! I was very upset, I wasted gas to come down to look at something that wasn’t on the lot. After I’m told by the online sales guy that it sold, this other salesman gets in touch with me and asks me what information I needed on the Mini. Then a few days later someone else emailed me about it. Colonial Hyundai had some poor reviews before I considered the vehicle they had but I will never recommend anyone going there because they clearly have very poor communication skills. Very careless that I drove almost have the time to get there, to be told it’s no longer for sale. I should have been told this before and then they continued to bother me about looking at the Mini when it’s no longer there. I took my business elsewhere and I’m very glad that I did! More

My wife and I are looking for a new car. The people were awesome to deal with. They never pressured us to buy a vehicle. Showed us the 3 types of vehicles we are interested in. Wonderful experience with everyone at this dealership. I love my sonata and the process couldn’t have been easier. I also come in for service and have always been well taken care of. This dealership sold us the exact same car twice because they couldn't fix the first one! But, the new car they sold us had the SAME problem as the first! This dealership has got to be the worst on the pl they couldn't fix the first one! But, the new car they sold us had the SAME problem as the first! Worst Experience of Our Lives My wife and I came in to Colonial Hyundai to buy a SUV after the birth of our third child. We needed more room for the five of us and found a used vehicle just in our budget. Colonial Hyundai to buy a SUV after the birth of our third child. We needed more room for the five of us and found a used vehicle just in our budget. We negotiated a price for a used vehicle at the dealership and a trade in value for our car. In fact we had agreed to pay what the dealer was asking. We had this in writing and placed a down payment for the vehicle with Colonial Hyundai. We came in the following day to sign the paperwork. We handed over our used vehicle and title. After we were done signing all of the paperwork and we’re in the process of writing a check for the vehicle, the manager came in. He stated that the he didn’t like the deal we agreed to anymore and was changing the value of our trade. Let me reiterate, we had already signed all of the paperwork for this sale. Colonial Hyundai then proceeded to rip up our signed paperwork in front of us and attempted to renegotiate the value of our trade before we could complete the sale. We could not afford the increase in price nor could we accept a dealer changing the value of a trade after we had signed all of the paperwork. We had to walk away from the sale. It feels as though this dealership did not act in good faith and did not honor written agreements they made. I hope you read this and think twice before trusting or doing business with Colonial Hyundai. More
In March 2022, I had my 2022 Sonata Hybrid purchased in October 2020 towed to Colonial ( the original dealer) with major engine failure - overheating - at 21283 miles. Their Service Department insisted th October 2020 towed to Colonial ( the original dealer) with major engine failure - overheating - at 21283 miles. Their Service Department insisted that the failure was due to driving through high water and ingesting water through the air intake and would not submit it as a warranty claim until the insurance company engineer documented that there was no indication of water ingestion through the air intake. After 1.5 months I finally insisted that Hyundai Customer Care have the vehicle moved to another dealer. After working with Hyundai USA, the 2nd dealer got authorization for a warranty repair. After 6 months, I finally got my car back on September 24, 2022. Had Colonial not stonewalled me this would probably have happened much sooner. Despite this being my 3rd Hyundai and 2nd Sonata Hybrid purchased from Colonial Hyundai, I will never do business with them again. More
