Needed to swap out my lease We leased a new 2014 Jetta TDI in May '14, this car had some dash rattle problems (which were fixed), but the base of the back seat belts would always We leased a new 2014 Jetta TDI in May '14, this car had some dash rattle problems (which were fixed), but the base of the back seat belts would always sink into the bench when trying to buckle both my daughters into their car seats. So much so that an adult had to buckle them in while holding the base with one hand, each and every time. After 8 month we had had enough of doing this. I expressed my displeasure with my salesman (Rick Dolliver), and he worked with management to swap us out to a Passat without incurring any extra fees of any kind, and keeping our monthly payment the same. This was our first foray into VW, and we were about to never consider VW every again, yet Rick and Colonial management's work, not only kept us happy, but earned our VW loyalty for years to come. Thank you everyone involved for making this work for us. More

Chris Tattrie needs to be acknowledged - Very impressed I'm sure I'm like most people, buying/leasing a car is not something I look forward to. A necessary evil, I like to say. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I have had terrible experiences with pushy, sleezy salespeople. I can tell they just see a dollar sign on my head and don't really care if I pick the right car, or pay too much.. as long as they "close me". HOWEVER, for the first time in my life (and I have purchased/leased at least 8 cars) I can honestly say that I enjoyed my experience at Colonial VA. And this is all because of my salesperon-Chris Tattrie. I have to say he is not your 'typical' car salesman (sorry,no offense...but I can understand since I'm a "Headhunter" which doesn't always have a good reputation,either). Chris was a helpful, genuine and an authentic person. He wasn't pushy and truly helped me make the right decision. I even went so far as to ask to talk to the GM that day so I could rave about Chris. (And I would like to mention, I'm a salesperson and I'm not and easy 'sell'.) No one likes to be sold- I just want to go through the process and feel good about it. Chris made sure all my questions were answered and he went above and beyond to get me my car. I know he didn't need to do this, but genuinely wanted to. That is the difference. I will recommend him to all my friends and family! Chris is a cut above the rest! More

Terrible, Frustrating, Waste of time. Went to go look at a car that I was told was available over phone by Jeff the online sales manager even though it was not and someone was looking at i Went to go look at a car that I was told was available over phone by Jeff the online sales manager even though it was not and someone was looking at it but instead told me to come and look at it after they "uncovered it from snow" which they told me later none of the cars where covered in snow. What happened is Jeff had someone looking at the car and didn't know if they would buy so lied to me over the phone to get me to come look at a car he didn't know if he'd have even though he knew I was more than an hour away, He could of told me to put a down payment over the phone but didnt because he was hoping for the sale from the other guy looking. Once buying a new car after being so mad the new car had such damage to the bumper they have to replace it even though it has 14 miles on the car. A brand new car with damage and liars for sales staff including and especially Jeff. More
