Once the purchase was complete, he has been very helpful in getting all of my paperwork complete, answering numerous questions I've had about the car and ensuring that my car buying experience has been up to my satisfaction. Look, if you go into a dealership to buy you a car - they are going to do the best they can to try to sell you one. That's their job. If you aren't comfortable with this dynamic, there are multiple online tools to purchase a car without interfacing with a dealership directly - carwoo and mojomotors are both great examples that I explored. Ultimately, giving the size of a car purchase investment, the relationship matters to me and I'm very pleased thus far with my experience with Ian and the team at Colonial VW. More

My sister Anne recently shopped at Colonial Volkswagen, and dealt with Rick Dolliver. Unfortunately, there were no cars in my sister’s budget. Rick promised he would keep his eyes open for a car that would fit her budget. Anne had been to several dealers prior to coming to Colonial VW, but she is determined to wait to hear from Rick because she was so impressed with Rick’s courtesy and professionalism. I am writing this review on my sister’s behalf because she is handicapped, and most sales people don’t take the time to help her. My sister was very impressed with Mr. Dolliver. Colonial Volkswagon and Bill McGrath were amazing when I needed them. I had never had my car serviced there before but when I called as a new customer on a busy Saturday morning around 9 am about a new eng needed them. I had never had my car serviced there before but when I called as a new customer on a busy Saturday morning around 9 am about a new engine light coming on they fit me in within the hour, even though they had a full schedule and only a skeleton crew. They got the car in faster than they predicted and endud up fixing a glow plug that had failed, all at no cost to me. Everyone I interacted with was extrememly friendly and helpful. More importantly, everyone went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. I will definitely return to Colonial and would recommend it highly to anyone who needs a Volkswagon dealer and service center. More

Owned a VW Passat previously. Service and reps have been consistently excellent. Ian was very good. Friendly and took the time that we needed. However, after my husband picked up my previously owned 2009 Ti consistently excellent. Ian was very good. Friendly and took the time that we needed. However, after my husband picked up my previously owned 2009 Tiguan, we discovered that it had not been cleaned inside. As we are both busy, and I am still recuperating from a broken leg and ankle, we did not return to complain. We cleaned it out, but it was disappointing. It probably had been vacuumed, but the interior and cup holders were very dirty. Yuck! More

David did not 'hover' or ask me questions as I was looking at cars on the lot. I was not ready to purchase my vehicle on my first visit, and he was understanding. I purchased a brand new 2013 VW GTI from Chris and the experience was nothing but pleasant. He was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He didn't put any pressure on me, and only gave advice. The only down side was the pressure from the finance person who tried to push me into all the extras that I truly didn't need.
