Oil Change Joe in the service department at Columbia said he can do my oil change in 45 minutes, he got it done in 35. Likely not be back for service To begin, I came in for the oil change with tire rotation special $40 offer. When I arrived I specifically asked to have the antifreeze topped off. W To begin, I came in for the oil change with tire rotation special $40 offer. When I arrived I specifically asked to have the antifreeze topped off. When I later took the time to review the paperwork, the tech never marked that he even looked at the level of antifreeze. I knew it was about empty walking in and had to fill it myself after my visit to Columbia Ford. The tech also marked off that all of my lights are fully functional. Again, he didn't look at the car because he would have noticed both parking lights and license plate light were out and I would have had them replace. He also stated my tires need to be replaced and marked that they are in the yellow zone, therefore he decided himself that it wasn't worth it to rotate them because the service desk would be talking me into new tires. When I cashed out, that gentleman told me my tires were in the red and there was zero tread left, as if I wouldn't be looking at them myself to see this was all wrong. The tires have used tread in their 18 months but they are clearly not bald. Regardless of when I plan to purchase new tires, a rotation is what I asked for and a rotation should have been completed. Neither the service desk nor the technician obviously cared to even look at my car in the manner of the paperwork they handed me and therefore I will likely not be returning for any services unless it's a basic free of charge recall. I also waited over an hour for this nonsense before I had to find out myself if the car was finished. No one thought it was necessary to leave the desk and find the 8 month pregnant woman uncomfortably waiting just around the corner. More

Return Visit We had been getting service from Columbia Ford for years until we retired in 2009. Our town then got a Ford dealership which became more convenient as We had been getting service from Columbia Ford for years until we retired in 2009. Our town then got a Ford dealership which became more convenient as it was closer to get to. We travel all over the US with our F350 diesel truck & Redwood 5th wheel. So we have had had opportunities to have service in many Ford dealerships. We know good service. After several services not done to our expectations at our local dealer, we decided to go back to Columbia Ford, and we are very satisfied with their work. We have had two service visits to date, one for 30,000 miles and another for adjustment on our additional fuel tank that was not properly installed by dealer we purchased vehicle from. So far so good with the repairs to our tank. More
