I called Competition Infiniti with the mind set of getting a new lease with zero down. They were able to get back to me within 5 minutes, had the new g37 coupe available for me. I went in, and while i getting a new lease with zero down. They were able to get back to me within 5 minutes, had the new g37 coupe available for me. I went in, and while i was there, Kyle helped me pick out my car. Darlene was the sweetest you can get. She approved me for the car without a cosignor being that i already have an existing auto-loan. I was literally in Infiniti for no more than 45 minutes. I picked out my car, test drove it and everyone was pleasant. I advised them that i wouldn't have my DMV and Tax money available until the weekend (this was Monday) As i was leaving, i received a phone call telling me they could release the vehicle to me, being that i was pre-approved (i know this was just to get me in the car, but it still felt nice to pick up something brand new without any hassles) All i would have to do is bring the money down by the weekend. I cam back at 5pm, and I drove my new g37 home at 5:45pm. Within that time frame, i signed my contract, met the service receptionist and the service tech. When i got home, i realized i hated the color. The amethyst looked purple, didn't notice it until it was next to a similar silverish/grayish car. I called Infiniti the next day, and they told me to come down and pick out another car, which i did. I am extremely happy with the service. They could be a bit more lenient on their miles & pricing, but overall a great experience and i would refer them to anyone. More
I went to the dealership for SVC engine light. Was told it was Ex Sprocket. Picked the car up and noticed it wasn't running right. Brought the car back and also said there was a humming noise . They had to it was Ex Sprocket. Picked the car up and noticed it wasn't running right. Brought the car back and also said there was a humming noise . They had to redo the first job and told me the front tires were cupped and that was my problem. When I called back and spoke to Robert Rice the service manager about this he told me to get a file number from consumer affairs. I went to an independent tire place and they told me there is a suspension problem. The dealership is Competition Infiniti. More
I contacted with this dealer for about a month. Finally they offered me an acceptable price OVER THE PHONE. After I said OK, they kept pushing me to pay $2500 deposit with my credit card to reserve that car. I refused to do so, because I want to see the car first to make sure it is exactly the model and the color I want. Today I drove more 50 miles to them, and met with the exact sale man to whom I talked over the phone. To my surprise, he said he never give me that price. Instead he gave me a price that is $500 higher. This really pissed me off, because yesterday I confirmed with him about the price at least twice, and he said yes. Why he changed so fast? Fortunately, I did not pay them the $2500 deposit yesterday. At last, he lowered the price to $100 higher than he originally gave me over the phone yesterday. I still went away, because as a customer I won't encourage the dealer to play this kind of trick. If he succeed this time, he is going to play the same trick to the next customer. More
Service Dept. did NOT complete pre-scheduled warranty (delivery problem) work. Service Manager and Assistant Service Manager never followed-up, as agreed with me, to bring the car back in. During a routine oil change service visit, Competition Infinti stripped the thread of the oil drain plug on my 2003 Infiniti FX45. I discovered this after I had moved to another state where the local deal Infinti stripped the thread of the oil drain plug on my 2003 Infiniti FX45. I discovered this after I had moved to another state where the local dealer notified me of the damage. My new Infiniti dealer have been able to repair the damage for several oil change visits since the damage was inflicted by Competition Infiniti. This past week, my local dealer informed me that it was no longer possible to repair the damage. Competition Infiniti has refused to pay for the damage they have caused. I have tried Infiniti's corporate comsumer affairs office, but they did very little to thelp. The service manager at Competittion Infiniti in Smithtown, Long Island NY (His name is Nick) had told Infiniti's consumer affairs that they would not pay because it was 14 months since they damaged the vehicle. Competition Infiniti has not responded to me when I have contacted them in writing regarding this problem. I can not accept that a dealer refuses to pay for damage they have caused, simply because it is 14 months since they caused it. I have the service record for my vehicle with a statement from my new dealer that clearly shows that the damage was caused by Competition Infiniti. More
Gave a deposit and ordered the QX-56 3 to 4 months before QX-56 car came out. Waited 4 months after car was out and still never got SUV. Called at least once a week for months, speaking to both the before QX-56 car came out. Waited 4 months after car was out and still never got SUV. Called at least once a week for months, speaking to both the salesperson and the manager, than gave up and bought the QX-56 at another dealer. I ordered a specific truck and dealer probably sold it to someone else who probably paid MSRP. My order was for less than MSRP. The dealer called me to say my truck was in over 3 months after I was already driving an identical truck which Competition said was not available. I've bought many cars before and have never had this happen. It was dealer was very dishonest, not to mention bad business practice. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. More
