TransUnion Diaster Hyundai Finance could not check my credit on the day that I signed the paperwork for the car because I had a freeze on my credit. Equifax and Experian Hyundai Finance could not check my credit on the day that I signed the paperwork for the car because I had a freeze on my credit. Equifax and Experian removed the freeze after I spoke with them over the phone and properly identified myself. TransUnion refused to do this without a PIN number, which I did not have since I had never done business with them. The TransUnion staff in India (or Pakistani) was rude and unhelpful. They would not remove the freeze over the phone and told me it would be a week before I receive the PIN in the mail. I had to sign the paperwork for the car in order to get your deal even though I could not take possession of the car. After waiting 5 days and not receiving anything from TransUnion I drove from my home in Chestnut to their Headquarters near the Philadelphia International Airport. The headquarters staff promptly removed the credit freeze and could not understand why the staff in India did not. I waited a total of 9 days because no one informed me that your company uses TransUnion! More
