We worked with Darryl Cannon (Sales Consultant), C. J. Miller (Used Car Sales Manager, and Sadi Ali (Finance Manager). All three were excellent. We were honest and transparent with the number we needed to be at ("out the door"), and all three worked together to make it happen. Darryl was exceptional as a Sales Consultant. He knew the vehicle we were looking at and was accommodating every step of the way. We chose him as the Sales Consultant we wanted to work with based on previous reviews of him; they were all great. As a side note, Darryl raised his hand and served this Country for 12 years in the Army; extremely impressive. Bottom line: Great dealership (nice, newer, large and comfortable setting) and good people to work with. They want to make deals happen so do your homework, know your numbers, know the vehicle you're looking at, and be honest. If you do these things, you'll have a great experience at Continental Toyota. And remember, ask for Darryl Cannon! More

My real name is Charlie from Schererville Indiana. I saw a listing at CARS.COM from Continental Toyota in Hodgkins IL. I emailed an inquiry and within minutes I saw a response from Jennifer Wirtz. It I saw a listing at CARS.COM from Continental Toyota in Hodgkins IL. I emailed an inquiry and within minutes I saw a response from Jennifer Wirtz. It was a short video where she spoke to me by name, explaining she was ready to set up an appointment to see the target vehicle. I had never seen anything like this. At first I thought it was AI generated but later was told that NO, IT WAS REAL. Jennifer does that regularly. I felt immediately comfortable with the dealership. If they were doing something special like this, BEFORE you ever set foot in the showroom, well I was impressed. Arriving at the massive Continental Toyota lot was impressive. It is a modern visually pleasing site off LaGrange road. Easy parking right in front. I was greeted immediately and asked to have a seat and Jennifer came to set me up with a salesman. I was lucky again when Jennifer introduced me to DARRYL CANNON who turned out to be the best salesperson I've ever met to date. He showed me several used Rav4's and a new one which I wound up buying. There was never pressure, all my questions answered and Darryl was an expert at the Toyota product line. I have nothing but praise for this dealership and the people I met there that made the visit a memorable experience. More

We went through our needs and wants, and he showed us some options and explained each one in detail. We financed with Toyota, I can't remember his name, but the guy who helped with that was also very helpful and kind. Hopefully we won't need to purchase another car soon, but if we do we will definitely go back to work with Darryl at Continental Toyota. More

Our ministry required locating a new pickup truck for a number of applications. We were extremely fortunate to find what appears to be the perfect vehicle at Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, Illinois. We were absolutely BLESSED to work with sales consultant Sgt Darryl Cannon, who spent 4 hours making our purchase and visit not only a pleasure but seamless. Sgt Cannon was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. Sgt Cannon is a highly decorated war veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star. He is an amazing young man and we were very impressed. His Sales Manager CJ was also both personable and helpful. We highly recommend this dealership! More

I had an ok experience but not a good or great one. And I expect excellent service with Toyota. I have 2 issues with this dealership. First, price issues: the 8 year old 2018 vehicle was the same p And I expect excellent service with Toyota. I have 2 issues with this dealership. First, price issues: the 8 year old 2018 vehicle was the same price as when it was new in 2018. Theft Guard was pre-installed on the vehicle & the dealership would not remove the cost of it, even though one of the forms they required I sign stated that Theft Guard wasn't required to purchase the vehicle. Documentary Service Fee was the maximum legal limit in Illinois, which perhaps should have been reduced due to the second issue I had with them... Second, paperwork & communication issues: this issue is the biggie... the saleswoman I worked with was wonderful & understanding that due to a major spine surgery, I could not travel 4 hours to pick up the car & 4 more to get home. I needed to do all the paperwork electronically & have family members come get it for me. Our understanding was that when they arrived, they would simply get the keys and drive away. In order to do that, I did everything possible electronically via email and wiring payment. However, the dealership does not have DocuSign and they would have to overnight the remaining paperwork for me to complete and have me overnight them back. Excellent!! we had a plan that thrilled me. The problem was, they never overnighted the paperwork. The dealership had my email address, my phone number and address, and they knew I preferred communication either by email or texting. So when my family arrived, they had to deal with paperwork. After all was done, I asked the dealership to respond to my frustration with them. They replied promptly and eloquently by email. "Finance needed clarification regarding the titling and additional documents. I confirmed that calls were placed on August 11 and August 12, but contact was not made, so the paperwork was not sent. I understand why you were frustrated with the communication surrounding this. Your expectation was that the paperwork would be completed before pickup, and that did not happen. We could have communicated more clearly about what was still needed, and I apologize for that." So basically the finance department called my phone - and I do not answer calls from unknown numbers. ALL other communication was by texting or email, by my request. The one time we spoke was when I called my saleswoman to clarify some things. So finance called a couple times and gave up, instead of noticing that the customer required a text or email. If they needed to talk to me, they could've texted or emailed me, and I would have called them back. But they never even bothered to check. This dealership might be great if you live locally and have a straightforward purchase in mind. But if you have special needs, you might want to go elsewhere. More

There are too many other Toyota dealers around to be able to confidently recommend this one. There is a lack of transparency in pricing; they do not print or share the contracts; they only ask for signatures to confidently recommend this one. High-pressure sales tactics where the salesman and the finance manager tag-team and both oversee you trying to sign the paperwork. Lots of red flags. I had to follow up multiple times asking for the full (all pages) contract, as opposed to only the signature page. There is false advertising with one price for a dealer-installed option listed online but an entirely different price shown in the purchase order. They prey on people knowing inventory on some models is hard to get, so they are limited in their choices. This place is predatory, and I would check out one of the many other Toyota dealer options in the area. Overall, I really did enjoy my time with Alit. He was friendly, knowledgeable, a little slow with the process but enjoyable to spend a few hours with. He took his time to go over every detail of the car and gave us a tour of the dealership. When it came time for the final finance process, I wish I could be as enthusiastic with Sadi. He was not authentic or trustworthy and we were uncomfortable the whole time in his office, wondering what was going on, with little to no explanation. I don't know if it is because he was way behind schedule or it's just how he is. More
