I gotta say David was a great car salesmen- the only one I’ll go to for now on! This pandemic shortage was ridiculous. After waiting two months for it to get better, it only got worse, and other dealership I’ll go to for now on! This pandemic shortage was ridiculous. After waiting two months for it to get better, it only got worse, and other dealerships took advantage of the situation with their “COVID car shortage additional fees” of 2k -4k. Yes I’m talking about you Elgin, Naperville, Lincoln, and other car dealerships. What was even more frustrating is all the car catfishing calls going on. Such as this common instance which happened more than once, when I called the Lincoln Toyota before the one hour drive there, was told they have a specific car Rav4 before driving an hour over. Then when I arrive they say a mistake was made and they didn’t have the car in stock. Instead they try to sell a used Jeep with 100k miles at original top of the line MSRP price plus an additional fee…. For the 2 months I car shopped, no one could never give a straight forward answer. It was always “drive 2 hours after your work day THEN we will talk.” … Until David who was a godsend! I had spoken to David 5 months prior when helping a family member shop for their car. I remembered how straight forward, clear, honest, and truly patient and kind he was with my mother. Now shopping for a car for myself, I had asked him a few weeks prior to let me know when Continental receives a Rav XLE that I wanted. Instead of bombarding me with texts to try and get me to come in to sell me cars I wasn’t looking at or that were out of my price range, he only texted me one other time just as he promised to let me know that the exact car I was looking at has come in. After this I continued to incessantly bombard him with texts that I sent while I worked, and on a HIS only day off- he answered every question. He got everything ready right when I arrived at the dealership after I got done working on Monday. He also stayed after hours to help me! Needless to say, save yourself time and peace of mind, speak to David. He goes above and beyond. He does NOT PRESSURE or bombard with, meaningless texts. Only straight forward answers. I felt like he only truly wanted me to make the best decision for my family and I for that I am truly grateful. He provided a truly stress free, honest car buying experience during these COVID price gouging times. Truly a godsend! More
