Great service appointment. I was taken care of for my scheduled appointment to have the dealership apply thier shield product to my truck. While waiting there it was comfortable I was taken care of for my scheduled appointment to have the dealership apply thier shield product to my truck. While waiting there it was comfortable, clean, and very welcoming. Along with being there a short bit I had mentioned to the gentleman who took my truck for service that my certified truck didn't come with the tire Jack and tools that normally come with most vehicles. I was greeted by the salesman whom sold me the truck with a replacement jack and tools and informed me that it should have been there all along being a certified vehicle and he would place it in the truck for me. Even though the service appointment took a short bit of time it was a great overall experience there at the Corwin Ford dealership. More

It was finally time to move on from my 1999 Ford F350, a very sad conclusio My wife and I came to Pasco from Spokane to look at a used 2016 Ford F350. It was finally time to move on from my 1999 Ford F350, a very sad conclusion to come to. But I am at the age where I now wanted my "forever" truck with more of the latest features. Upon arrival we were introduced to Austin (fortunately), who we had communicated with by email, and the experience began. After the test-drive, we really liked the used 2016 Ford. It had so many features our 1999 model could only have dreamed of. It looked great and seemed to be what we were looking for. But Austin then suggested we consider new. Yes, we thought at first this was just another dealership ploy to get us to "buy-up". But after a thorough discussion, it began to make sense, especially since we had decided this would be my last truck (at least until the kids make me surrender my driver's license 😏). So, we first looked at the 2017's, with their big discounts, but could not find one that had everything "I" had decided was important (aka "cool") to have. This process was not slow, Austin had great patience and was very sincere in helping us make the right decision. I was impressed with his honesty and true desire to make this a good experience and to be comfortable with our final decision. Never once did we feel pressured, hurried or made to feel that we had to figure this out quickly. After a while, we took a break for lunch to think things over. Upon our return, it was suggested that we try searching their 2018 inventory. Again, another attempt to make us spend more? Not so (I'll explain later). At this point, Austin's sales manager, Justin, started to assist. He took all the things we were looking for, really, all of them, and started looking at all dealership inventories within about a 300-mile radius once we had determined that the Corwin inventory did not have our truck. Getting a vehicle on a "dealer-trade", can't be the best, nor certainly the easiest way for them to satisfy a customer, but they wanted us to get exactly what we wanted. Justin spent a lot of time on the computer and came back with a number of possibilities. We finally found the one that came the nearest to our requests, at a dealer 200+ miles away (kind of hard to find the "exact fit" when Ford trucks can be built in endless combinations). In the end, the price we negotiated on the 2018 model was oh so close to the discounts we would have gotten on the outgoing 2017 model, a really, really great deal (I hope they don't mind that I share this detail…it was even $4000+ better than the Costco program and also the other dealers we investigated later). And it was a 2018 model, with the necessary (cool) options and the improved SYNC 3 navigation/media system - so much improved over the previous version (and was not available in the 2016 model we first came to see). Our 2016 Edge has Sync 3 and we love it. Anyway, it did take a long time to arrive at the final conclusion (about 6 hours at the dealership) but not due to an endless negotiation phase, but because Austin and Justin wanted to earn our business by finding the right truck, and because of our slow, methodical approach to such a big decision. Yes, we did spend more than originally planned, but we are fortunate to be in a position to be able to do that. For others, it may be necessary, and wise, to stay within your original budget. But know this, neither Austin nor Justin pressured us into buying new - they just presented the possibility, laid out the scenario, and we made the final decision. A really great overall experience (they even have a Starbucks inside their dealership!). Then, 5 days later we returned to finalize the paperwork, have them demo the truck and then take delivery. Again, another demonstration of great service and effort to ensure everything was satisfactory (they even filled the tank with diesel, over $100!). Then, several days later, Austin called to follow up and make sure we were happy. Very nice. If you are looking for a vehicle, don't even hesitate to see Austin at Corwin Ford in Pasco WA. You will surely come away feeling like you were well taken care of! More
