It was not an evident priority to have phone calls or emails returned with answers to specific questions. The frustration in this came to a head when upon picking up the car and driving away, the TPMS l emails returned with answers to specific questions. The frustration in this came to a head when upon picking up the car and driving away, the TPMS light came on. This warning light on the dash prevented the vehicle from passing an emissions test. When efforts to contact the dealership were made, these went unanswered and required an independent repair in order for the vehicle to pass emissions. The dealer belittled us and implied that our purchase of a ten year old Toyota was inherent with problems that the dealer had no intention of fixing. More

My 22 yo daughter purchased her first “real” used car this week. The sales person, Orlando, is new to Corwin and he was decent. No high pressure sales, just the right amount of listening. His only fault: this week. The sales person, Orlando, is new to Corwin and he was decent. No high pressure sales, just the right amount of listening. His only fault: he over promised on things he couldn’t make happen, like saying he would have the service check the battery, make sure the AC was checked/charged, etc. The car was a trade in and had not been through the service center when she purchased it. Two days later, the car was “ready” for pick up. Unfortunately when she arrived, the battery was dead. This unsettling fact made her question if (1) the 52 point inspection had been properly performed or (2) Corwin faked it to get us out the door. They got the sale. Isn’t that enough? The customer service was lacking on all levels. She left three voice messages for the used car manager, Mike or Mitch or Mark? (can’t find his name on the website anywhere). When asked if this is how he treats all of his customers, he snarkily retorted that he was too busy and often doesn’t answer calls. He didn’t want to speak to us about our experience (or lack there of) saying he was too busy. Mike/Mit ch/Mark didn’t provide her with the service report until she asked. That seems sketch! Like they were intentionally hiding something. The service report clearly stated that the car failed some of the inspections -and they were addressed (air filter, rear brakes, oil change) but there were others items were the car also failed that were not addressed or inspected (fluid checked, etc). This is my 2nd, and last car, that I will purchase at Corwin. I bought the Toyota service plan for my 2023 RAV4, but will not be getting my oil changed at your service department. I’ll drive to Mountain State instead. How can I trust your service recommendations after the lack of transparency and honesty with how the service suggestions were handled? More
I stand by my previous review. After 7 months of not being able to title the vehicle they sold me, now they refuse to cut the check for the agreed upon vehicle buyback price (whic After 7 months of not being able to title the vehicle they sold me, now they refuse to cut the check for the agreed upon vehicle buyback price (which they only agree to after I had to pay a lawyer). John David is a horrible finance manager and Corwin Toyota needs to be investigated for their business practices (namely, not transferring titles of vehicle trades to make sure they’re receiving clean, unbranded title vehicles). Dealerships like Toyota are where the words sleaze bag come from. They don’t stick to their word, but at least the coffee machine was broken. My next step will be to file a stolen vehicle report to see if Corwin finally abides to the signed agreement and pays me back for the branded title vehicle they tried to sell me. I REPEAT…STAY AWAY FROM THESE SLEAZE BAGS!!! More
