I would have given a 2 star review because my experience was sub-par at best- with questions going unanswered, lengthy time lapse between email/text correspondence, and a gruelling 6hrs at the dealership th was sub-par at best- with questions going unanswered, lengthy time lapse between email/text correspondence, and a gruelling 6hrs at the dealership the day I picked up my car (after waiting 4-5wks for it to arrive on a ship from Japan then train from LA). I was clear during my purchase process that I didn't want any extras and asked for a breakdown of all of the charges added to the sales price. This was almost impossible. My seller was very new, young, and slow, but very likable in every other aspect and easy to talk to. Once I ended up at the finance department I was extremely tired from a very long and gruelling 5hrs+ at the dealership so I basically just wanted out of there and wanted to just rush through whatever so I could go get my kid from daycare. Everything was electronic, I had not a single idea of what my total price was, how much was added on for taxes, etc. No matter what questions I asked I was told it would be shown at the end. However, at the end I was given a flash drive with everything on it. Nothing printed (not even a basic summary page) to show me exactly how much the total cost was, my down payment (A HUGE AMOUNT) deducted out, and the total cost of the finance package. Nothing. This lack of transparency really felt shady and like something was being hidden from me or like I was being taken advantage of. Then, a follow up call came from my seller, so I told the seller all of the above and that I'd not been able to go through the flashdrive files to get the answers myself and asked for help. I was told ok, then never heard back! Ever. This was typical. I am giving a 3 star review because of the help I received from Curtis in getting a senior seller to go over my new car gadgets with me. This new car has so many computerized sensors and the screen and I was not given a thorough tutorial, so the help from the senior seller was invaluable. I love my new car. It is a hybrid and is exceptional. I've always bought used cars and paid cash. This was my very first new car purchase (age 47) I've ever made in my life. However, I did feel like I was only a number that the dealership, that there are so many others looking to buy this car that I had to just take the price I was offered with zero negotiating room at all. This created a feeling of being trapped which really sucked, but as I was told, the market is the way it is, if you don't want it there are 200 people in line to take it. I have a reliable car though, and I know if I have any questions Curtis will find me someone like Paul who is friendly, great at explaining things and who will help me! I would recommend Paul but would have pointers of the things to find out 1st before purchase. More

They charge over MSRP.
