The process never felt high pressured but instead like someone who wanted to make sure the car would have options we wanted and was in our price point. I have never had a salesman put the effort into making sure we as the customer were happy and were not just another sale. Our best interest was his priority and this not only gained our trust as a customer but also made the overall experience a good one. More
Took advantage of me Jeff worked with me for the better part of the day. Then, 15 minutes before closing he made a deal. I was rushed through. Did not see all of the people I was supposed to (he asked me to lie and say I did). We had agreed to take out my remote start from my trade-in. But all of a sudden that couldn't happen bc it was too late in the day. He said I would have to come back in a few days. A 6 hour drive but I said I could make it work. But when I called a few days later he said the car was sold and my remote start was gone. Whined that if he made it right, he would have to personally pay for it. Tried his best to wheedle out of it. Even insinuated that I was lying - but I had a witness. Dishonest man. Fought for weeks and was finally sent a remote start - not a comparable model. Not installed. But something. Weeks went by and no license plates. Weeks turned to months. Called. Rude to me. Brushed me off. Said I needed to go get them at a license center. I did. Today, 6 MONTHS after I purchased the car, a set of plates arrived. Not only that but I got a call from Toyota Financial saying I missed a payment. I have automatic payments!!!!!!! The loan department was impressed by my near perfect credit rating. I was told I didn't need to make a payment for 45 days. OR I could pay early and have a grace period in case I needed to skip a payment. The first payment was automatically withdrawn from my checking account in the amount I had authorized. The next month there was nothing taken. The following months an amount other than the authorized amount was withdrawn. What is going on? Nothing but screw-ups, beginning with my contact with this guy. Save yourself headaches by avoiding him. Especially if you appear vulnerable. He will take advantage of you and not even make an effort to make things right. More
