Went in on a Thursday and talked to Brian, he informed me that a 2011 Hyundai was $11,995. So I went home to fill out the online application because I had to have a cosigner. After the application was finished, I was contacted by Daniel saying I was approved.... I went back to the dealership with my cosigner that Saturday. We looked at the car again and was ready to sign paper work. Daniel brings us the paper work and now they were asking $13,995 before taxes, tags, interest and all that stuff..... They jacked the price up $2,000 within a 2 day period and then tried to tell me I was lieing about the $11,995.... Very unprofessional. Oh. And the banks charges the dealership a $1,000 fee to use them. So then they turn around and charge the buyer more to make up for the loss.... Some dealers talk too much... Buyers need to know how Most car dealers work. More
My partner and I were looking to buy a car, and with the credit she has (not too bad, but not good either), they were willing to do whatever it took in order to find her the perfect car. Me and my wife went to buy a red soul+ for 19,345 and by the time you added your extra dealer label it went to 22,000, the payment was to high.We then went to what we were told ,because of the steering whee the time you added your extra dealer label it went to 22,000, the payment was to high.We then went to what we were told ,because of the steering wheel mounted audio that this was not a basic, it was considered a plus.This is what my wife was told while on the phone with are insurance company,We had a much cheaper price for a basic from Kia of Gaffney. I came in on March 24 at 745 at night and Stephen introduced his self to me, my wife, and son. He asked a few questions and took us straight to the perfect car. The entire experience from the moment my husband and I stepped out of our car and met salesman Ron Gosey to completion of financing with Larry was incredibly easy and pleasant. Both gentlemen went out of their way to make sure our car buying needs were met and our payment fit our budget. We were not the easiest "sell" which made their efforts to negotiate a fair deal even more impressive. I highly recommend Ron Gosey as an honest, knowledgable representative who treats his customers with respect and takes the time to address their concerns. Kia of Gastonia is obviously focused on maintaining long term relationships rather than a one time quick sale and it shows in the way their employeess communicate with customers. Great product, great warranty, great customer service. I can't imagine buying a car anywhere else. More
