We were searching online for a particular used car and there was a match at the Courtesy Acura dealer in Littleton Colorado. I sent a message to the dealer and Jeff Thorton was very quick to return my cal there was a match at the Courtesy Acura dealer in Littleton Colorado. I sent a message to the dealer and Jeff Thorton was very quick to return my call. I headed over to the dealership and met Jeff who was very pleasant. The thing I appreciated is that he didnt pressure me and try to show me a bunch of cars. He told me the facts, gave me the information I needed and I left. Later that day I was back and bought the car. Jeff had informed me of his schedule and had arranged for Jack Garcia to meet us and complete the deal. Jack was also great to work with.It was very easy. In fact I am writing this less than 24 hours since I actually saw the car online. We would absolutely use Courtesy Acura again, and Jeff in particular. The no "high pressure sales" alone made me feel more comfortable and gave me a sense of trust. This dealership was wonderful. They did not push me to buy anything and I felt I was treated fairly. I recently leased a new MDX from this dealership. Because I knew what model I wanted, the negotiations were conducted over the phone, and the salesperson I was working with told me he was a manager. Because I knew what model I wanted, the negotiations were conducted over the phone, and the salesperson I was working with told me he was a manager. He agreed to lease me the car I wanted at about $10/month above the price I wanted, with $1,000 down at signing. I called him that evening and left a voice message saying I would be in the next day so long as the total monthly payment was the amount he offered. Then, when I arrived at the dealership ready to sign the paperwork and pick up the car, right before I signed the paperwork (I had already been there close to an hour) the story changed and he told me he thought I meant that the "total monthly amount" we were talking about was "before taxes", and that once taxes were added it would add about $55 to the monthly payment. When I asked him whether he thought my voicemail from the night before was unclear, he said he understood it, but didn't get it until that morning. Which does not explain why he didn't immediately call me when he did hear it, to correct my "misunderstanding". It also turns out he was not a manager, because when we had to continue to negotiate the deal it involved the finance manager and the general manager. Long story short, after being at the dealership for close to 4 hours and having to negotiate with several parties, I ended up signing the lease and taking the car. I will never do business with them again, and I would recommend to anyone who deals with them that you get everything in writing before you go in to sign and drive. More
