Purchased vehicle on Saturday, came out Sunday and something was leaking under the car. Then starting hearing a loud clunk when turning. We were not able to take the vehicle in for service for two weeks. Needed something in the rear differential repaired. We had purchased extended warranty but when we took it for service, the dealership had not even mailed in the warranty paperwork! They kept the car for the better part of two weeks, claiming the warranty company was the hold up. Then told part was in - oops, no it's not. The service manager did not seem interested in helping us. The repair was $2600, of which we paid a deductible, plus over allowance labor charge. I complained about the charges and was told we would be reimbursed, check was in the mail, etc. This stalling went on for two weeks. When I finally called the business office, the lady there said she had no idea what I was talking about! We did eventually receive a refund, so that's something I guess. We have had the vehicle 5 months and have had repairs totaling approximately $3500. The salesperson was rude, the finance manager even more so and was very dismissive of me - I'm guessing because I am a woman and was the one purchasing the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership. Go to Don Franklin instead. I have purchased several vehicles from them and their customer service is top notch. Wish I had done so this time. Lesson learned!! More
Nice People, Very Expensive I had my car diagnosed because of a sound coming from the engine. They came back with an idea of where the sound was coming from and what part was mos I had my car diagnosed because of a sound coming from the engine. They came back with an idea of where the sound was coming from and what part was most likely causing the issue but it wasn't guaranteed to be the solution. This makes finding other shops to fix the malfunctioning part more cumbersome. If I didn't pay $100 this wouldn't be a big deal but for that kind of money I expect a detailed synopsis of how to fix my problem. Besides that though everyone was friendly so I can't say I had a bad experience. More
Last Minute Trip We live 2 hours south of Lexington. We had to make a last minute quick trip to Lexington for other reasons. We knew there was a safety recall on our Acura MDX. I called Courtesy and they were able to work us is in a couple hours later the same day. On the drive up, a scheduled maintenance warning popped up. They performed that too. They gave us a nice clean courtesy vehicle so we were able take care of other business. It all worked out well. Chris was super nice and informative. We were very pleased. They also washed our vehicle after the work was completed! More

Recall done in an hour on back tailgate lights Service was great but, with this recall, it should HAVE INCLUDED the side tail lights as well since one side is getting water inside & flickering my L Service was great but, with this recall, it should HAVE INCLUDED the side tail lights as well since one side is getting water inside & flickering my LED lights to go out. Service told me they couldn’t replace it, only the tail gate ones. The same issue they are trying to prevent with the back lights, they could not include the back side lights? I’ve owned 4 Acura’s (3 were MDXs) & have been planning to purchase another but would like issues like this to be completely fixed when recalled and not partially especially when the back light (in this situation) is not working at the time I am getting the recall done on the tailgate lights. Service said they Couldn’t help me since they weren’t covered. More

Quick and Free Upon hearing that my 2015 MDX was part of a manufacturer’s recall for faulty taillight seals, I contacted Courtesy and they gave me an appointment for Upon hearing that my 2015 MDX was part of a manufacturer’s recall for faulty taillight seals, I contacted Courtesy and they gave me an appointment for two days later. Once they determined that my seals were in fact bad, they had the parts shortly and had installed the new lights. All of this didn’t cost me one penny, and of course I got my free clean and wash. Thank you Courtesy for top-notch service! More
