I had an absolutely terrible time having my car serviced here. I called and set up an appointment for 1230 early in the day probably around 7 or 8. I had my car towed in by my insurance company shortly afte here. I called and set up an appointment for 1230 early in the day probably around 7 or 8. I had my car towed in by my insurance company shortly after because my breaks didn't work. Then I was contacted and told they would try and look at it same day but probably wouldn't get to it until tomorrow. When I countered with I had an appointment for 1230 they told me that it was an appointment to drop it off... it wasn't and I had the email to prove it. Then several hours later they called again saying they couldn't find anything wrong with my car after test driving it. I again pushed back and said that's impossible I couldn't tap my breaks without them seizing up and my car jerking forward. They said they will check again and call me back. Several hours later after having my car for almost 4 or 5 hours they call again and say that they still cant find anything wrong with it. I ask if they've taken off the wheels and physically checked any of my breaks or calipers which they say they have. I've finally had enough and say fine I'm going to just come get my car. I get another call about 10 minutes later and they say they checked my car for codes and found an ABS code. At this point I don't want them to even touch my car anymore. Only after having my car for more than half the day and me continously pushing back and questioning them about what they were doing did they do one of the most basic troubleshooting steps. I hang up the phone and drive down to the dealer where the service agent tells me that I need a new break control module and the part would be covered under warranty but I'm a few hundred miles over. He then says he will go to bat for me with GM and even though I'm a few hundred miles over he thinks there is a good chance GM will still cover it. I agree to leave the car for one more day while they submit the paperwork. The next day I get a call and what a shock GM isn't willing to cover it. I ask for them to send me the form they submitted and then I contacted GM directly. After working with GM on my own for about a week they finally agreed to split the repair costs 50/50. The dealer was zero help in any of this process. Fortunately I have another car that I was able to use while this one sat on their lot until a decision was reached by GM. I will never go back to this dealer after having such a terrible experience. I had to fight them the second my car hit their lot until the time I paid for the repairs and left. They were extremely unprofessional in how they handled everything and it seemed like they either couldn't be bothered doing things the right way or they were trying to get the maximum amount of money they could possible out of me. I go to dealers for the reassurance that I should be getting quality reliable service. This place has me considering never going back to a dealer and finding a more reputable mom and pop shop out in town. If I could rate them as a zero I would. More
